We not handing things over it IQ after that. It was nice and it might earn him a spot in the rotation.
Not really sure what CLE was throwing out there but that was a Gleague squad out there.
Preseason shows us a things. Bullock was awful as was Dennis.
Enjoyed seeing Drummond playing. He is fun to watch and seemed to enjoy himself.
Does Love ever play? Thats a nasty front line if they healthy.
If.........

Bullock sucks. Elfrid Payton sucks. Randle should be coming off the bench

Not only will the Knicks win more games when they lose Thibs can use the excuse “I’m just playing the youngsters so I can develop them”

We just saw what should be our starting lineup win the game.

They will make mistakes and not be as effective many times, but Thibs should really see that the combination of Quick, RJ, Knox, Obi and Mitch is the way to go.

If not starting, they should be featured together from now on in every game.

It's boring watching the vets. I really don't care to watch Payton and Randle.

Look at the spacing. Look at the G being able to run the offense at the top of the key. Obi didn't need to demand touches from the PF position. He was comfortable as a finisher.

I know teams can crowd the lanes when Payton or DSJR are the pg because there not a threat to score beyond 5 feet . And everyone has a hard time getting open. In my opinion quick gives us the best chance of winning of the PGs

Vets? They are only 4 years older than Obi. Not even half through their NBA careers yet.

this understates things. this is just changing the % for FT actually taken

with increased confidence in his FT% he will be more likely to drive and draw contact

for all of the advanced analytics on 3pt% drawing and shooting fouls is the most efficient. it also has the advantage of softening the D as key players get in trouble (and don't want to foul out) making late in game opportunities more efficient. Hubie Brown loved FTs. And then if you're into analytics, driving and collapsing the opponent's D actually helps your own defense against quick transitions, providing better floor balance and positioning. Missed 3 pointers can lead to long rebounds and quick transitions for the opponent with no rim protector in front of them

I'm just saying if RJ keeps his FT% up and transforms to a guy with let's say 6+ FT a game, it will be huge. all kinds of things will improve

look at a lot of the great teams and you'll often see one guy who spends a lot of time at the stripe

I couldn't picture a much better end of 3rd + 4th quarter for the Knicks youth movement. It was spectacular - it was pretty much everything you'd hope to see.

* DSJ played aggressively and made things happen, hit some 3's. Though he wasn't on the floor for a big chunk of the 4th(I think replaced by RJ?)
* Knox really couldn't have played much better. Hit some 3s, the killer outlet pass and the devastating alley-oop.
* Quickley's impact was incredible - the defense respected him like he was Steph Curry (perhaps too much respect?!) and he kept attacking and prodding the defense for holes. And his defensive energy looks legit. With the wide shoulders and wingspan, he was a bit reminiscent of Langston Galloway. Basically - he played the way we'd hope Frank, DSJ, and Payton to play... play like you're in danger of getting cut.
* Mitch really alters shots around the basket - he was a bit too imposing for the the 2nd and 3rd string Cavs players! (I guess Mitch is officially a veteran now!)
* RJ somehow basically had 2 brainfart TOs on the same play (only got credited with 1), but was otherwise quite good. He was patient and let plays develop.
* Obi-1 was out there disrupting on D with his length. He was open for a few potential 3pt attempts but didn't get the passes (tho Obi was standing at his lower % spots, not the corners)

Frank did not play. I'm not sure where he fits in that group. It's like he needs to start - otherwise his current defense-focused game gets lost in a high energy second unit.

We already know what Payton is. Decent passer who cannot defend or shoot from 3. He shouldn’t even be in the rotation let alone starting. I don’t understand the fascination this franchise has with him he’s probably an Isiah signing

We also know what Randle is which is Zach Randolph
