any chance OKC can get involved with Ernes Kanter, who has a shorter contract? 1 year and 1 year player option?

With their lack of shooting last season, in addition to making PG13 and Westbrook, maybe getting a stretch 4 like Ryan Anderson is not such a bad contract IF it leads to them being able to keep Westbrook and PG 13
Probably would need a commitment from Westbrook...

Not that I want Kyle Sylgner but OKC probably wants to remove him from books as well
But would OKC be scurred to be forming another "power house Western team" or should they should be thinking on how a stretch 4/5 could open lanes for Westbrook and Wide open shots/layups?

I can't for the life of me figure how CLE gets melo without shedding Love and keep a bench. They are losing enough money and the front office is rudderless.
Gilbert reported lost 40mil last year. I know the value of the teams go up amd media loves that angle but fact is the value goes up, but losing 40 mil is still losing 40 mil.
They got their one ring, does two really move the dial that much? Three is the legacy. If Cav's lev up and Lebron leaves, it gets ugly fast.
They need tristan Thompson badly to win.

All we got is what we read. Where is Melo? Still in Texas?

I am just hoping we can get a useful player and a pick for Melo. That would be such a net positive for the team and the rebuild.

Ryan Anderson is a useful player but I still don't want him. It's gotta be a useful player on a decent contract who fits the team's needs.

I do not think we are taking on his contract. $20 mill to be a sniper on the bench? If we are doing that they have to give us a Nets Godfather deal.....but Morey is too smart for that unless desperation sets in....because with only CP3 and Harden...that is not enough...

i have not see Anderson coming to NY. Rather to Portland. IN any case, in attitude alone, its a plus for NY.

Right but it takes 20+ mil away from free agency in 2019, and maybe also in 2018 if Melo opts out.
