His shooting form looked better than Mudiay, Okafor, Stanley Johnson or Winslow He has been doing it longer. He is after all a three year college player. |

Everybody will respect his first step and leave him wide open....Otherwise, it's a blow by. What you will find is basically everybody's favorite player from 4-10 will turn out to be great NBA players.....And some will be HOFer's......This draft is that deep. Usually a kid like this would've been a lock in the first few picks. Jumping from HS to Euro ball hurt his draft stock.....But he's on the same elite level as the top 3 in the draft. It's a high risk to pass on him. Might be better to pick him and then buy another late first for WCS, Kaminsky, Turner type bigs. He has two way potential....Above the rim game (ticket sales for Dolan)....pass first guard, which is rare for this type of athleticism. And his first step and above the rim game, means he has the ability to take over games on either end. Phil is in a no winning situation.....regardless what he does, he's going to pass on a potential star who could turn into the top pick of the draft......I would hate to be in Phils position. ![]() What Mudiay has now is what John Wall just started to figure out.....Thats what makes this kid special.
John Wall just learned and still learning how to use his speed to create for others. He's just learning how to change gears.....and Walls is a NBA vet now. Mudiay already has that change of speed game.....Which is key (take it from me since I have a similar change of speed game, which is why my achilles are shot). But with this type of game, you don't have to be fast like John Wall......a good example is Jason Kidd......Kyrie.....They know how to change up their speeds and keep defenders off balance.....Mudiay does this naturally, but uses it to set up players! He will use it more in the NBA to set up for himself also. That balance is what will make him an elite player. Oh, that jumper will be solid in 3 years. But he can do so many other things with the ball, it's not that critical right now. But it will improve. He looks like the type that wants to be an elite player. And he has a great starting base, with maturity to go with it. All in a 19yr old package. When he's Stein and Kaminsky's age.....He will be an NBA star. Along with Towns and Russell. Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland.
