What's interesting to me about that is that those two were allegedly close at one point. I remember an article a few seasons back, talking about how some Knick personnel were concerned with how close they were becoming and how JR might be a bad influence on him. It would be funny now if there was trouble in paradise.

Shumpert was less than 3 ft away from him, played like he didn't see him and promptly walked away without helping him up. Am I reading too much into this or could there be a rift between both guys?

My eyes were away from the screen when it happened but that's interesting. Might resent outplaying him and still getting benched. Better stop getting caught on switches or its going to happen again. Other than that I like the energy he is bringing.

Yeah, I like Shump's edge tonight. I wonder what it's taken him so long to find it! Then again, it has to be frustrating to be losing time (and consequently money on his next contract) to JR. As much as we're up tonight, Smith's lack of intangibles is disconcerting. He really is a dumb basketball player, which is why I hope we finally move him back to the bench and find some guy worthy of being Melo's sidekick on offense.

Also unbalanced treatment can make you hate someone too. This whole thing has been a problem.

Seeing Melo kinda have Shump's back w/ the little thing w/ Blatche was also interesting bc I thought the 2 of them kinda had beef from how they interact (seperate from yelling incident), not JR & Shump.

I was actually a little shocked that no one else came to Shumpert's aid. He was giving up 6 inches to Blatche, so you'd want the team to be a little more defensive.

Definitely believe it was the trade rumors. Looks like Shump reached a point where he said F it, and started playing with some fire again.

I told you guys Prokarov hired Kidd just because he was familiar with Woody's plays and just wants to beat the knicks
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Bargs and Tyson will make a great defensive front line when they play together. God willing we make the playoffs, a good matchup with Indy this time....I hope.

I don't know how it took me so long but I just noticed Joey Crawford is reffing this game. Brace yourselves for some horrible calls in the 4th to keep this one close.
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

We need a good PG so bad, I'd be willing to risk his baggage at this point.
