Pablo need's skilled players that MOVE WELL WITHOUT THE BALL, a reason why Kmart was so successful when was Chandler out
Copeland thrives playing the stretch 4/5 role while being a focal point of the offense and not just a spot up shooter, he makes good decisions

Yes the two of them seem to be very much on the same page. Prigioni is a very good point guard, and I am glad Woody has finally figured it out.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

Somehow, someway Cope has to be a part of the rotation from here on out. Even in the playoffs....enough of the DNP's....

Agreed. He helps with some of the scoring when Melo sits.

He is our only REAL PG that has the ability to facilitate, even though he barely can penetrate or defend the position
His ability to LEAD our team with good shot attempts changes the dynamic of our team
However, he needs players that play smart and attack the defense together NOT ISO HEAVY

Will we find a way to keep

JR
Martin
Copeland

they are all capable and deserve more than what we can offer, hope Grunweld pulls of his magic
And Woodson needs to continue to build Cope's confidence for the play offs, and ride this rook, as he can do things that the veterans cannot, SCORE

The commentators must have gotten their info almost a week ago if they're saying Durant's averaging 28.5 and Melo 28.1, it's actualy 28.38 for Durant and 28.33 for Melo...The difference is next to nothing.

Oh and not that it mathers THAT much but Durant's also averaging 1.4 minutes more per game, which usualy would mean jack **** but since it's so close I thought I might point it out.

I like OKC. They're probably my second favorite team in the NBA. But I would hate them if the Knicks had to play them on a regular basis. The calls would drive me to drink.

Some of that is on Pablo. He needed time to learn this game and still needs to figure out when to shoot or take the layup. What I am surprise with is how smart he is on D and when he doesn't reach in half court D he is pretty good against faster players. Bigger players he gets ate up but for the most part he holds his own.

While Copeland is showing us that he can play the stretch 5 role as a skilled F/C
Forget what he cannot to on DEF, he is trying, his ability to be a offensive threat like when Kmart was playing the 5 opens things up for the entire lineup
Having 5 threats (even some minimum) vs playing with 1 that is not even a threat (Chandler) is signifigant
on top of it, Chandler's DEF has been horrible this year, he hasn't been moving his feet, just like how Westbrook was able to blow by him at the free throw line (pure laziness giving him a lane to drive)

He is a Center, out on the perimeter, on a switch. Against freakin Westbrick. What do you think is gonna happen lol

He is really trying on d. Hopefully Woodson notices. Novak is a weapon but Cope has a lot more dimensions to his game.

Nah, thats not how they play. OKC is a jump shooting team....

Yea but the scouting report says play otherwise, waiting to see if the change up in the 2nd half.
Knicks got their number 1st half. 2nd half there will be some major adjustments .

How do you watch them? I'll admit I've only seen their national televised games but it seems like its Durants/Westbrook and freethrows for them all game.

I'm impressed with how well Novak and Copeland worked together this half. Before shooting 3s, Copeland dished it to Novak a couple of times, made an effort to get him going and it paid off. At the start of the season Cope wouldn't have done that. Could be the makings of a good tandem. Might be what Novak needs to get going, someone he can count on to get him the ball. Copeland is having a hell of an all around game as well.
