Agree. The Lakers are in ninth right now. They have had their share of adversity but they also were supposed to have a dream team roster after their big summer.

How do you know he had a good relationship with players on the Knicks?

That would be Mike Woodson...as in MW

I pay attention to how the players respond and adapt. He got Felton to drop weight and motivated Melo to get in shape. I've watched training camp bits and regularly watch the MW show. Some players don't respect their coach(MDA) and some players just don't like their coach...I'm taking my best guess obviously.

I remember how I felt when the team started 1-9 and 3-17 out of camp. It sucked.

I dont have a problem with it. Im glad one of my threads is actually contributing to to the board activity. I just find it funny when people complain about negative threads during bad times then bring them back up when things are going well

Man up and give the head coach the same loud, standing ovation Mike DAntoni would receive with a 50+ (yeah I said it, we are winning at least another game) season.

We celebrated when JVG left. Layden Left Good riddence!

When Chaney left, When Wilkins left, Herb demoted, Larry fired, Walsh hired, when we got youthier, when Isiah was fired, when MDA was fired.......

and now some of your are self congratulatory in "I knew it"!!!!

Its a homers job to jump up and down every year!

A dead clock is right twice a day.

Why be somber? Interesting question. Im enjoying the season and having fun but for some reason its like becomes "competitive" in who is the "bigger fan".

Then we complain "both sides" about how each is a fan.

Its quite childish yet Im right there too!

gunsnewing - you are taking this very personally. This is not about you. Hear The Answer Man now and believe him later, no one wants to fight you over a freakin' basketball game. No one really cares about what you think about Carmelo or the 13 game winning streak. No one cares about what you think about Mike Woodson, Jeremy Lin, Travis Knight or Mike D'Antoni. This is not about you. It is about a team coming together at the most unexpected time and changing their stars.

I wouldnt be opposed to it lol

Look I am enjoying this run as much as anyone. This is truly incredible considering where we were a month ago. 50+ wins division locked up. All we need to do is get the 2nd seed and homecourt til the ECF. Doesn't get much better than that. To be the laughing stock of the league for a dozen yrs to completely bypassing mediocrity like where the Nyets right to 2nd seed elite. It is truly amazing indeed. Get to the ECF and the rest is icing. Really proud of this team for actually setting high goals and reaching them. The most important thing is that we ade playing our best basketball now heading into the playoffs and relatively healthy unlike last year. Gonna be fun
