MDA
121 W's & 167 L's
Woodson
54 W's & 27 L's
Bunch of bull**** trying to count D'Antoni's 1st 2 seasons as coach and his Toney Douglas at PG season.
Also a bunch of HYPOCRITES on this forum who CRIED about D'Antoni and praise Woodson.
19-16 in the last 35 games. Not the same team that started the season. Stop being hypocrites and johnny come latelys. Don't cherrypick when it comes to criticism. People criticized D'Antoni for a style that couldn't win in the playoffs. This style wont win anything either.
But keep up the hypocritical posting.
Hypocritical? My response to you didn't praise Woodson, nor did it criticize MDA. I simply responded to your post with facts.
BTW, nevermind the 1st 2 seasons....MDA was 18-24 last year while Woodson took the same exact group and went 18-6. Those are facts, not criticizing or praising....
Those are "facts" without actual facts. Get the point? Can't just print out stats without actually giving a background on them.
The team that was 18-24 was largely that because Carmelo refused to share the ball, we wasted the early part of the season trying to turn Douglas into a PG and our other PG options (Bibby, Davis) were either ineffective or always injured. That record is inflated because every team plays well after a coaching change. Look at the Bucks this season. Is Jim Boylan a good coach? Certainly not but the Bucks are playing better under him than Skiles.
Woodson started off 8-0 and finished 10-6 the rest of the way. We started off 18-5 this year and are now 19-16 in the last 35. Not to mention Woodson's putrid playoff record. Those are the "Facts".
So MDA's putrid record with the Knicks has nothing to do with the coach, but is Melo, Dolan, Tony Douglas, Bibby, and Davis's fault? But when Woodson goes 18-6 with the same group, Woodson gets no credit, but its the ineffective and always injured players who get all the credit. Got it!
Why is it so easy for you to offer up excuses for MDA's failures with the Knicks and say my facts aren't 'actual', yet, you call Woodson's putrid playoff record a fact without offering similar 'actual' excuses as you did for MDA?
Every team Woodson lost to in the playoffs was favored to win. He lost to the Celts in 2008 (took the champs to the final game, almost pulled out game 6). Lost to Lebron and the Cavs in the 2nd round in 09' and lost to the Magic in the 2nd round in 10'. His teams beat who they were supposed to beat and lost to better teams....
