@anji...i think green is a solid collee player. im just not sure if hell make it due to lack of size or ability
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Some of the mocks have james McAdoo falling to us. I'm not too impressed, but the athletic talent and NBA body is there. Maybe he can develop into a cheap combo forward we can develop while we phase out STAT.

Im not a fan of the top but I like 20-40. I think you can get two kids who can be nice prospects and help a team now.

Agree about him not being ready. But the talent is there and he does fill a need.

Agreed. This is a great draft to grab a couple good future role players. Draft is poor for those teams looking for franchise talents, but not for a team like us looking to add some youth and plug holes.

Archie Goodwin (SG - Kentucky) = 6-5 195...just declared for the NBA draft. DeRozan clone who doesnt really shoot great (yet) but he can explode with athletic ability. (im sure hell be in the slam dunk contest next yr). The concern with him (besides the fact that hes a shooting guard who CANT shoot) is his lack of motor. If he was more assertive, kentucky wouldve been better this yr. he looks and PLAYS like hes half asleep at times. then hell surprise you with a foul line dunk. Ideally, he'd stay in college and learn how to shoot but the trend is to leave early

Adrien Payne (C - Mich St) = 6-10, 225lbs athletic center who came out of HS with a big reputation. He coasted thru out his career and was labelled a bust. He finally put it all together his Sr yr and now we see what the hype was about. He plays great defense and rebounds very well. What makes him stand out is that he finally is showing his offense. He can hit the mid range jumper and 3s

Michael Carter-Williams (PG - Syracuse) 6-6 190. interesting player where Im still not sure how he will do. Like most of these prospect he would benefit from staying in school one more yr (hes a twig). First of all, hes a "real" PG..not one of these hybrid guards. When he penetrates he looks to pass first (at one point he was leading the whole COUNTRY in assists). 2nd, excellent shooting range and quickness to play def. Problem is hes young and doesnt do all of this consistently (only 27% from 3pt). In a game he can amaze you and also confuse you with the mistakes he makes. 6-6 Devin Harris 2.0

Otto Porter (6-8 200) = verstile All American do-it-all SF with intruiging potential. He blossomed this yr after being expected to carry the team offensively. Smart intelligent player who plays within himself (doesnt force shots). Speaking of shooting, even though he has improved, its not his strength - hes a slasher. He has a "Weird" shooting form that could improve with NBA experience. Defensively hes very average; causes steals due to his length

Shawn Marion 2.0

I guess Mitch Mcgary might just be entering the draft. Now I highly doubt he would slip to 24 but if he was open to it--playing in NY and not working out for anyone else--Id promise him that draft pick. PG aside--with our depeletion in big men--an active athletic 6-10 260 player fits the bill.

Otto reminds me more of Tayshaun Prince. I agree tho, he'll be a solid pro.

I saw that. I tell you I am very very impressed with Cory Jefferson--this guy has improved his game this year to the point that he is an absolute first round pick no brainer right now--he almost reminds me of a version of Amare Stoudemire right now. Baylor has three NBA players on their starting squad. Austin and Jefferson are going to be first round picks this year. No way he is 210 more like 230--whatever he is he is mean athletic and aggressive and has developed a mid range jumper than coincides with his Amare like attack on the basket. In fact the only bigs I like in this draft from a Knick standpoint are Olynck and Jeffereson.

I think it says a lot about Scott Drew's coaching that he's able to get NBA talent year after year in Baylor and they continue to underperform. As for big, I must admit that Jeff Withey's game ash grown on me. He won't be star, but he'll be a solid backup and rotation player. What do you guys think of CJ Leslie from NC State. I see shades of Stromile Swift, Tyrus Thomas and Anthony Randolph. The talent is there, but I'm nit sure that he'll ever put it together.

Hes tougher than those guys--he plays tough. Now position is a problem because he has no 3 pt shot. There will be a team that will take Leslie for sure--and its hard to say with him--he is mentally tough with confidence and tremendous athletic ability and ball skills. I tell you this kid Cory Jefferson is no joke---I remember when I thought he should stay in the middle of the season---this man is a man among boys --I dont care what team they are playing. He is NBA and he could be as good as ANYONE drafted. This guy has improved dramatically in season.

Mcgary was in foul trouble but he needs to get better. He does have a motor and potential though. Trey is a lottery pick but i worry about his health (like lowry). Robinson and hardaway will be solid pros too
