I doubt it more like a sprain

That's what I'm hoping for, something small like a sprain or a bruise.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Brewer isn't anywhere near game shape and may not have fully recovered from his injury. He was really slow moving and out of rythm in 'Cuse on Monday. He looked better tonight in the limited minutes that I saw.

It actually felt like the Knicks were a team out there for the first time this season. We didn't have everyone, but it actually felt like a cohesive unit was on the floor with the way the ball was moving. The other guys need to recover from their injuries already!

GOOD
- Prigoni needs to see more minutes - great passer and defender (steals)
- Ray Felton - attacks the rim and can score/pass in a variety of ways
- Brewer - finally showed why I was happy we signed him. Plays great D, slashes to the goal for layups, scores in transition and even hit two open jumpshots
- Copeland - good game. Hes just a great finisher off the PNR. Hit a few 3s
- Novak - hit some timely 3s when coach decided to play him
- Kurt - rebounded well and hit a couple Jump Shots
- the reserves played well and thats why we won in OT. Thompson finally showed his great jumpshot and Sims finished well. Good luck in the D-League

BAD
- Carmelo - i think that 3pt shooting outburst vs Nigeria was bad for his game. Now he thinks hes a 3pt shooter. Whats even more annoying is that he does this stupid habit where he doesnt follow thru and starts heading backwards
- Kidd - just decided that preseason isnt important. Looks disinterested
- Tyson - knee injury 44secs into the game. Now hes on crutches

Overall, this team played better defensively. Also encouraging is that when Melo was off - first he STOPPED shooting and 2nd they found a way to score without him

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Anyone who's play'd ball or watched it for number of years knows your legs are just as important as your hands in shooting the ball. Look at Ray Allen in Playoffs last year on bad ankles. 2nd game back from injury and we already throwing a Landry Fields pity party?? He actually play'd well..would have been better if he finished some of his slashes to basket but that will come when he gets his legs. When Shump gets back that's a formidable combination at the 2 guard.

we got killed on the boards and are totally blown out if not for a 35 year old rookie from Europe. Did we even have a fast break point? In two years we went from youngest to oldest. This team is so uninteresting. How did Melo do? More good shooting?

4th after the 2015 spectre of the Icelanders now! The N*yets won't even be first in their own building!

We moved the ball, baby! We allowed 86 points in regulation against the must-see, newly premiered starphucked team in the area! Love me that interior D they play in Brooklyn! Was that Ray Felton or DWade???!

Yeah, it's only a preseason game, so all 6 of you haters can post negatives about the Knicks, and nothing about the N*yet$s...

Agree mostly with your points. Carmelo when he let the game come to him, was more effective, especially in the 3rd quarter. Novak's got to play better help D to get more minutes on the floor. Alot of the 3s hit were because of late or no rotation. Brewer justs looks plain rusty, but you can tell once he locks on defensively, him paired with Shumpert will be an offensive backcourts nightmare.

The injury to Tyson greatly annoyed me. I turned the game off afterwards.

Felton has had a pretty good pre-season. In fact, better than you know who. I won't make much of it though since pre-season is meaningless.

I think the Knicks definitely upgraded at SG by replacing fields with brewer. He does all the same things (instinctively cutting to basket, excels in transition, poor outside shooter) AND he plays great defense.

Preseasons, Net scrubs were out there at the end. Knicks too.

Marshon vs. Suger ray!

Not exactly the headlinger!

Soon the bragging rights can be rewarded and the games are for real.

Knick injuries will be a great crutch for us to get by if it goes bad.

We ain't talking N*ts here are we?

We get a good excuse also when players return from injury as they need their leggs and time to practice.

Then we argue if Amare is better off the bench again!

Last season was a blast with Linsanity and the Month of Melo! Never had a 7th seed season be so exciting.

I hope less drama and more hoops from this team. No hate for any except the Celtics.

We need villians! When we have games that count we'll win some, and some will hurt! From that comes rivalry!

Beating the nets in preseason with scrubs on both sides, not really that gratifying is it?

Still just a preseason game, but little more gratifying for the Knicks, since the Nets were at full strength.

KNicks depth and "Maturity" can add up. Nets rotation and bench will take time to gel, if it in fact does.

Knicks still have to work in Amare and Melo together. Lets be real, any serious contention relies on those two playing as a unit. Amare might not start (I doubt this) but if you have a max player like him he will close games.

Preseason is a ripoff for ticket buyers because the agenda for the coaches are not always clear. They want to see things, they want to see combonations of players together and run plays regardless of the outcome of the game. Who knows maybe Marshon was being showcased as well as others. YOu never know.

Winning is always a good thing. These teams play for real next week.

I played a lot of ball, enough to know you shoot with your legs as well.. I understand... I was being sarcastic... with that said.. brewer still stinks, I don't care if he had usain bolts legs......

honestly, I was watching the rockets vs the Hornets mostly, switching back to the knicks game every so often... In the past that was unthinkable.. during the knicks game my 10 year old just turned the TV to watch "full House", I never liked that show.. but I didn't care.. before she would have gotten a time out.. .LOL.... this team is boring to watch.. like watching paint dry, how do you buy into a team that has a shelf life of one year and very little chance beating the top teams in the confrence.... For me, these are the dog days of being a knick fan.... but thank god for league pass, i can watch several other teams play.. I plan on doing that this year... I root for the knicks to win, lord knows I do, but I won't be watching much..
