Bingo. Melo is unstoppable down low and almost always gets a call. Stop launching shots. He did this all last year and his entire career. Just not a guy that will ever get it.

and The Answer Man thought you did not care.

Prigioni rocks steady.

On second thought, Prigioni might be better than Felton.

Defintely a better decision maker.

How dare you take it back now.

No can do. I am glad however that Felton is trying harder this time around to run the offense. We'll see what happens when the roster is made whole.

Damn I thought we'd be battling Boston and Miami. Didn't expect the Raptors to finish ahead of us in the standings!

Summary:

Amar'e looked good, overall. Looks like he has his jumper again. His post game looked decent although it led to some turnovers.
Felton, way too many turnovers today and bad defense.
Melo, way too many threes.
Pigioni, overall good game, shot not great tonight but passing and defense good.
White, had some good offensive and defensive stretches
Kidd, looked good overall although did not stand out in anything particular.
Copeland, good game.
Tyson, bad defense, weak on boards, bad ft shooting.
Knicks team, bad defense & bad rebounding & bad 3 pt shooting and bad ft shooting.

It's just pre-season so I wont make much of it. Just a general summary of what I saw.

I'm loving Prigioni's game....hes a very good point guard. He's running the team very well out there. I'm loving his leadership.

Copeland looks like a rotation guy. Felton needs to find his game, he looks lost.

Carmelo needs to figure out what is a good or bad shot...he needs to stop launching and drive the ball!!!

+1 Was thinking the same thing about Melo.

Make "The Sacrifice" he already has his 23pts

How much do you want him to score, 14?

Its going to be on Woodson this season to get on Melo's case when he does that.

Well it's good to know we have Felton when we don't want to get torched by a Top 20 point guard. Then again maybe he the Top 20 point guard is Top 10.

Who knows.....

Preseason game 3, missing some key rotation guys. I wouldn't put much stock into this loss. If we're full strength and struggle several games into the season, then yea time to push the panic button.

He had 23 when the game was still manageable but he just couldn't help himself from the Heat Checks

Heat checks? Carmelo was shooting wide open threes in the 4th mostly off turnovers and fastbreaks. They were not heat checks. LoL. They were good shots that he just missed. Melo should have started driving when his shot was not falling though.

They traded Lowry and failed to resign Dragic. Both dumb moves.

Ugly, but whatever. It was their first game in a week and Melo had wide-open looks that weren't falling.

Coach's meeting: hit the glass harder, keep working on plays to get Novak open, everyone shoot an extra 50 free throws after practice.

Also, no one got injured, so as far as I'm concerned, the game's a success.

I don't think giving up 17 points equates to getting torched. LoL.

Don't you know losing during pre-season means your season is over. I guess the NBA will have to cancel the regular season since every single team has lost during the NBA pre-season.
