IF this doesn't end all debate about this team needing a PG most of all, then nothing else will.

Stat just not involved in this game at all! Lack of a point guard really shows and hurts.

So how does Amare get his shots? how was he getting them last year? No melo this game, so where is stats points. If they aren't playing well together, then he should play well without him. I think stats lack of production is related to poor conditioning to start and the fact that he now has to play the 4 position.
Stat at the 5 had alot of mismatches, none at the 4. So he ends up driving right into the traffic. In order for Stat to be effective at the 4, he needs a 5 that can stretch the floor.

We look better without melo. We can't we get melo to buy into ball movement and cut iso in half. He would do us good playing in the post or moving without the ball. He has the talent to score so why wait for the team to adjust their defense to you?

Your like WAY OFF. It's about not having a PG to get him the ball in a favorable spot! It's that simple.

i wouldn't say we can't get melo to buy into ball movement, i mean how many games has it been? i'm not saying he definitely will, but i think more time needs to be given to see how/if he adjusts.

and let's be honest, melo isn't going ANYWHERE, so thinking anything other than that is pointless.

Not having a PG that can penetrate and break down the D is a negative.
Felton did that, even CB4 did that to an extent last year.

Your right, but I think he should set more picks, he's like standing there wating for the pg or ball handler to come to him
