Every other play there's a disgustingly wide open Bobcats player. The Knicks are retarded on defense, and their offense is almost as bad. I am very tired with this. How the hell did they let the Bobcats score 62 points? Well done

Amar'e should have 20pts by himself right now...nobody out there can guard him...he's not involvd enough. Too much emphisis on the 3 pt shot....only Shumpert is daring to play the game and take what the defense gives. Everyone is settling. Horrible coaching....Knicks are getting exposed.

Amare just steps out of the way for penetrating guards and watches from out of bounds as they score.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

yea did you see when STAT just let Augustin and go right to the hole?

The team seems to have lost it's focus on D as a unit. They need to figure out what they're doing as a unit and focus. It's all the little things like seeing your man and the ball and blocking out.

The switches are so unnecessary. They switch even on weak screens.

What the Knicks don't understand is if they play hard from beginning against scrub teams and get them off their game it's easier to relax and win the game. Letting a bad team get into rhythm is a recipe for disaster because then they have confidence.

Shump might not be a real point guard but this team looks 3 times better with him on the floor rather than our starting backcourt.

Yeah honestly after watching these three games we are one point guard and a quality head coach away from being a top 5. I think Iman is going to be a good starter in this league. I think he can come in and be rookie of the year. People are talking about Norris Cole but from what I seen from Iman I think he is better and is physically more gifted than him or any other player that came out. He 6-5 220 pounds. He already has a NBA body. A steal!

it's horrible...can't blame anyone but the coach. I knw its a shortened season but this is crazy....its half time so lets hope the adjustments happen and the Knicks can save face

Amare's defense is putrid and Melo is a black hole wish he would get others involved especially amare & chandler how bout a PnR. Even Jordan passed the ball! Where is the coaching!

It's not about the defensive scheme it's about EXECUTION! If you put in 100% effort and you play as a team you can defend. We have to remember too that this team hasn't been healthy and guys lose their chemistry when you keep changing the rotations. It's all gonna come together as this team gets to play together more.

Granted this is the same team that jumped on the heat and it took a Dwayne Wade game winning shot.

And the most important part he defends and takes pride in it. Whoever said toney Douglas is a good defender needs their eyes checked. He is horrendous.

Knicks are just not clicking on Defense or Offense yet. I believe that they'll eventually get their chemistry right, but it's still early and they Just got STAT and SHUMP back. People have to be just a little patient.

Douglas wins the tiebreaker because he plays longer

Yeah I never understood why some people here HAD a hard on for Douglas defense. I always thought it was mediocre. And now that he is a starter and not playing against other back up's he is getting exposed.

Patience is needed for chemistry but not for effort.
