Its one thing to be deep, but its another to be deep and have stars/closers. OKC has the 2 of them, Nugs have none. The closest the Nugs have to a closer is JR Smith.

All I'm going to say is we should be thankful the Nuggets are down 0-3 otherwise we would never hear the end of "Better without Melo" babble

Man, anyone watch that Dallas/Blazers game last night? That Portland comeback was amazing, especially with Roy's 4 point play to tie the game. ALMOST felt like LJ (it's Easter...I'm trying to avoid any blasphemy for the day).

Dwight Howard wanting out of Orlando will begin to surface very soon.

Time for Orlando to blow it up and start over if that's the case.

Well, he'll be the second all-star Orlando center heading off to Laker land.

I can't decide if the Hornets/Lakers series has been the best of the playoffs or Mavs/Blazers.....I would have gone with Bulls/Pacers had the series been tied.

Crazy first round matchups

Laker lightswitch was off tonight.

I mean, really. The Lakers do this every year.

Maybe. But I feel bad for him. He's got Dwight Howard and a bunch of role players. Nelson seems to be the only other guy who shows any consistency at all. Richardson is so streaky and Turk just isn't good anymore.

agreed. Team like Orlando can overachieve - if that's you can call it - during the Regular season because Dwight just over-powers opponents; Playoffs come around and a system can be put into place to limit him (or the other others around him).

Marv, just out of curiosity. Who you got in your top 5 forwards? And where would you rank Duncan in top PF/C ?

Top 5 PF/C of All time

1. Wilt Chamberlain
2. Shaquille O'neal
3. Abdul Jabbar
4. Hakeem Olajuwon
5. Tim Duncan

I'd put Malone ahead of maybe Kareem if he had 2 rings.

larry bird

elgin baylor

bob petit

john havlicek

julius erving

petit is the onlyl pf i have above him. i never really think of timmy as a c, so not sure where i'd rank him. but my top three centers in order are russell, chamberlain and jabbar and timmy wouldn't break into that trio.

who you got? my list is influenced by the number of years i've put in on this earth. who knows if i were a little older i might be hawking mikan, mikkelsen and schayes
