6 8" chuck hayes, houstons center pulled down 14 rebounds against these same crack head nets team last night.

It was great how Hubie Brown mentioned preparation and how prepared the Riley Knicks used to be. It all starts in Training Camp..if you don't put weight on Defense & Rebounding from training camp why would any of the players take it seriously. It's sad that the Knicks never play defense consistently. It's a fault of both players and coach.

That's all you need in the playoffs...but definitely a coach who preaches play like this from Training Camp would be great so play liek this doesn't seem like spurts.

With the offensive talent we have we can play with anyone if we just put forth great effort in D. It's not tha hard. Just defend the best you can. So frustrating.

If you don't teach it, emphasize it and demand it as a team goal then I don't think you can fault the players too much.

Wrong.

That offensive talent is not enough to play at a high pace for 48 minutes.

You need a bench.
