I saw the Garnett Frye thing too. Garnett pulled a punk move on that one. He should of just man'ed up and apologized to Frye and walked away. He was in the wrong on all different accounts; and for a dude with knee problems himself, he should know better.

Best replay I could find for the William's' fight. Clearly started by Marvin Williams and escalated by Marvin. Shawne after defending himself backed off while Marvin kept being aggressive. Stat and Josh Smith both good peacemakers to stop it from escalating. Shawne may have thrown a punch which is unfortunate, but he was mainly defending himself.

Look, Markji. Look here, see, I can't listen to this "defending himself" stuff.

Was he under attack in a knife fight? The guy was jogging down a basketball court, getting a ton of cash money to toss a basketball around for a few hours every few days. Gthot (get the heck out of town).

The guy should be kicked out of the league.

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

Which guy should be thrown out of the league?

Both.

The Palace brawl is a great example of what can happen every time a fight starts on the court. That's what we have to keep in mind.

I agree TMS- I've never seen MDA do that - Popovitch does and Phil does too

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

because if he did that, then he would have to sit everyone. Tonight, guys were missing assignments a lot. I saw gallo cover fields and felton twice on mistakes...

Gallo's missed assignments were in 2 of the most important possessions of the game when we were scrambling to make a comeback... i'm not trying to pick on Gallinari but last night his defense really disappointed me, especially in those key moments.

at the point i made the post the team looked completely listless & lacking of any energy whatsoever... at that point i put in guys who i feel are ready to give me some effort out on the floor, regardless of how many years of experience they have in the NBA... even if it means basically throwing in the towel in this 1 game sending the message that this kind of play is unacceptable can help to spur a team to more wins down the road... Popovich did that to his Spurs when they faced us last... after that loss Tony Parker was quoted as saying he realized how heated Pop got over that game, & they went on to win 8 of their next 9 games, the only loss to the Celtics at Boston in a very closely contested game that went down to the wire.

I don't know TMS, one of the biggest lapses was when we were down by 5 someone left josh smith open for a wide open three, that pushed the lead to 8 and we never recovered, I don't think that was gallo's assignment... I saw quite a few blown assignments, that is how we got down by 24.. knicks looked a step slow...

the problem I see,is that when you go small, you better have a couple of "dogs" that can just go get those boards.. in pheonix, marion was that type of guy who seemed to get every loose ball.. not only don't the knicks have that, but we are small when we go to the bench.. meaning when we go TD and felton.. it seemed like at any time, the hawks were bigger than us in at leas two positions every time.. that caused a lot of problems..

Shawne Williams left Smith open but he did get a hand up to contest, Smith knocked the shot down anyway... that was a big shot but there was still 3:30+ left in the game at that point, plenty of time to make a run... the Knicks were within 5 with 2 minutes left to play i believe when Gallo made those 2 defensive gaffes that sealed our fate... i don't blame the team being down early on Gallo but he made 2 huge defensive gaffes in the most crucial part of the game when we were scrambling to tie the score... in general i agree the team looked listless & a step slow all game & that's not all on Gallo's shoulders no doubt, but u can't make mistakes like that in those kinds of moments... we all wanna celebrate Gallo's ability to make big shots down the stretch of games (i did too) but he's also gotta learn how to keep up his intensity for 48 minutes of a game & not just for select quarters in select games... this is something other guys on this team need to learn also so don't think i'm just singling Gallo out in that regard... if Wilson had made those 2 defensive gaffes last night in the final 2 minutes i'd be pointing that out too.
