I dunno. At this point nothing is working. Give Randolph 30 minutes and see what he does with it. What's the worst that could happen we lose to the 76ers without Iggy, the Rockets without Yao and Brooks??

if it were me, I would focus on Gallo, Amare, Fields and Felton. those guys have the capability to play well. Whether it's Felton and Amare doing the PnR or those other 2 guys helping out in some combination. Break it down to the basics and run it over and over and over until they get it.

I am not just throwing **** on the wall and seeing what sticks.

Felton
Fields
Gallo
Randolph
Amare

let em run.

guys like Mozgov (stupid fouls), Chandler (HORRIBLE shot selection) and TD (ditto) have been allowed to play through their mistakes. just let AR go.

B-I-N-G-O!!! And Bingo was his name-o...

Nothing to lose here. I wouldn't go to sleep on Randolph and dismiss him as some guy that can't help us. On the contrary, he's a guy that could get this team out of this rut if we get him right. To me he's the big wild card in the mix, a guy that could be the difference between the Knick team we see now and the Knick team some of us thought we would see..The guy has a world of talent and D'Antoni hasn't gotten a damn thing out of him so far. A good coach would recongnize the talent, even by just being around it in practice everyday, and figure out a way to utilize it to his advantage..Take a look around - we've hit rock bottom. 5-game losing streak against mediocre teams, some even w/o key players..It just can't continue..Adjustments need to be made and in a hurry. I can think of two obvious ones that should go into effect right away: (1) get this kid Fields even more involved than he already is. Couldn't care less that he's a "rookie." He certainly doesn't play like one. I want this kid making more decisions with the ball in his hands and I want him taking 15+ shots of his own a night minimum, not 6---Felton & TD need to look for him way more and (2) get Randolph straightened out one way or another to the point where he's comfortable and in a position to have the type of impact that he's capable of having -- I recommend starting him to see if that does the trick..Big difference in this year's team is we actually have some solid talent for a change -- talent that Mike isn't taking full advantage of imho.

All we're doing is trying to kickstart AR with this move. If it doesn't work, we're no worse for the ware..ZERO to lose, all-star/do-it-all/difference maker-type player to gain possibly. I don't know about some of you guys but I wanna know EXACTLY what we have with this kid Randolph before we ever decided to throw in the towel on him..

I think Randolph is experiencing what Hill and TD experienced last year with D'Antoni. There was nothing to lose by playing them either and in fact the chance that there could have been improvement was there also. Some things that don't make sense just keep happening.

You don't. Randolph is younger than both guys and has more physical ability. He needs more coaching and mentoring and that has not happened a lot during D'Antoni's tenure. Randolph appears to be this years whipping boy and I said that at the start of the season. Fields has just been amazing and a huge surprise. However, he came in as a four year college player, and is just one of those hustle guys. I have been impressed with D'Antoni that he is still giving Timofey minutes and I never thought that he would.
