couple of those were the late 4th quarter desperation types. But yeah, he should cut those down unless he is completely wide open or at end of clock and has to shoot.

from Chris Sheridan's "what's wrong with Gallo" article:

"Last year we probably would have laid down at the end of the game, and it would have been a bigger victory for those guys," said Chandler, who faulted himself for taking too many 3-pointers (he was 1-for-7 from downtown, 8-for-13 otherwise).

so Chandler is aware that he needs to play to his strengths more. Unfortunately, there will be an adjustment period in that regard because he had been asked to become a SG. I really like him coming off the bench now because he can just be a man without a position that is a more than solid basketball player

i really like what chandler is doing. the aggressiveness of the bench is noticeable and his confidence in his game seems really high. knicks definitely didnt back down tonight.

if gallo can play that aggressive with the starting unit - man, watch out!

Had enough Melo?

Good game. I think that after the trade deadline and Gallo is still here, you will see a different Gallo. This Melo deal is messing with his head. Remember he came from Italy and he thought he would be a Knick forever. It is rumored that Gallo loves the party life in NY. He needs to focus on the game. I like this guy Fields. I hope he stays focus and don't let the NY life go to his head.

The chances of staying with one team your entire career are almost impossible so this is no excuse. I just think Danilo Gallinari is simply not that good. Not calling him a total bust but he's a role player/specialist. He averaged 15/5 on a team that won 29 games and some here think he's Dirk Nowitzki. He's a mediocre spot-up shooter right now. That's it. He doesn't have the skill or the athleticism or speed to drive to the hook consistently. He has no post game either at 6'10". I guarantee you in just a few weeks, everyone will see and admit Landry Fields is the better player.

we are really attacking the ball. People that have said MDA doesnt care about defense are silly in the brains. You have to have the players. Douglas, Fields and Felton all play their hearts out on wing. That makes it easier for the bigs. Chandler is looking like Josh Smith and Amare is very tough m2m. Turiaf is a terrible rebounder but he also blocks shots and plays good m2m. Different players, same coach, better defense. Who knew?

If only had Dennis Rodman

I hope Fields can be a double double guy like Lee was, he seems to have the skills for it. He is easily our best rebounder. Felton should look at some Nate Robinson tape and get his rebounding going.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

Only 2 games but really like how this team is playing.

The tenacity and fight is there and they put it all out on the floor. We don't have the talent yet to compete with teams like Boston but if we continue to play like this, the playoffs will definitely be reached (which would be HUGE in helping us bring in the guys to get to the next level).
