Korea played OK but we handed them the game with the players we played today.

And let me add that the subs we made were as horrible as the players chosen to start.

The British goalie seems almost as bad as the Nigerian was good.

my sentiments exactly. we should be able to take the other 2 games in the group and advance on. any loss or draw from here on out in group play is a failure.

South Korea is not that much better, sorry. I follow soccer. I follow how every team plays. South Korea is not garbage but they are on par with Greece. Greece was embarrassed today but it wasn't because South Korea was a powerhouse. They just played like total **** due to the players they had. It's like the Knicks having Houston and Sprewell on the team but benching them in favor of Rick Brunson and Howard Eisley.

But you won, congrats.

so basically what ur saying is that the only reason Korea won was because Greece played like crap. how about giving a little credit to the team that won? i'm not gonna get into a debate about who follows soccer cuz i don't really know much about ur team. all i know is Korea has represented pretty well in world cup play in recent times and they should not be taken lightly. judging from how they played today i think they looked crisp and on their game. next game they may play like crap, but today they were the better team. no disrespect to the Greeks but i'm proud of how our guys played today.

There wasn't a single moment in today's match where Greece looked equal to Korea, they're so wffing quick and Park was easily the best player on the field. Argentina underwhelmed me, but hey, to underwhelm and be in control just means they are awesome. Clint Dempsey made me proud and if I were an Englishman I'd questioning why Rooney and everyone else didn't exploit an injured/suspect defense

Un-Fn-believale!! We control 90% of the game and Green fricking well does that!?!? This team give me heartburn for gods sake. Shooting ourselves in the foot like that. Rooney looked kind of dispirited but him and Gerrard were behind everything good we did in the gmae. Every touch and pass from Rooney was excellent. I do believe he would do better up front with someone prompting the midfield like he has at United. Heskey was MOM to me tho, he really had a great game. Onyewu couldnt get near him. Very impressive. Big pressure on the next gsame not just to win but to win with style. USA played well, contained England for big portions of the game. Itll all come down to Donovan and Dempsey for you guys. Glen Johnson looked dangerous as wellbut I think we could have sent it down the flanks more and created more chances. Frickin Rob Green smh.

Good win by South Korea btw, they look like possibly even winning the group.

They get credit. They're just not as amazing as people are saying they are. Greece is not this bad and South Korea not this good. Normally these teams can be evenly matched but in this game Greece were thoroughly outplayed and outclassed by a better team. I'm just saying that this is partly because of the players chosen by the Greece coach. You can't say Greece totally sucked just because they naturally suck because that's not the case.

As an avid and realistic fan I didn't think we'd get passed this group. But I also didn't think we'd pick the players we did and play so poorly. South Korea has a real good chance to advance now and Greece is packing its bags. You guys have a nice team. Fast and technical. You can surprise some people. I wish you good luck. You were a good opponent.
