Kevin Seraphin, PF/C, France

Notes: Seraphin has declared for the 2010 NBA Draft. Plays for Cholet in France. Averaged 5.6 ppg and 6.5 rpg in 20 mpg in Eurocup play during the 2009-2010 season. Had a strong showing at the 2009 Nike Hoop Summit, scoring 8 points, grabbing 8 boards and blocking 4 shots for the international team.

Positives:
Seraphin appears to have the tools to become a draft prospect..
(Getty Images)

Long, athletic player
7-foot-3 wingspan
NBA body
Excellent leaper
Good shot-blocker
Runs the floor well, mobile
Finishes strong at the basket

Negatives:

Low basketball IQ
No offensive game outside 5 feet from the basket
Struggles with defensive rotations
Lacks general experience playing basketball

With the 39th pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, your New York Knicks select ...

Keith "Tiny" Gallon, PF, Oklahoma

Positives:
Gallon can fill it up when needed.

Strong, physical big man
Very skilled for his size
Excellent shooter with 3-point range
Decent footwork in the post
Skilled passer

Negatives:

Has struggled with weight issues
Not an explosive athlete
Prefers the perimeter to the low post
Had major chemistry issues at Oklahoma

I don't like the picks for my Knicks. I think Tiny will die running up and down in this system. Don't know enough about Seraphin.

49San Antonio
53 Boston

Are both open if someone wants to take them. I took Pheonix to get the ship moving again. I don't think Vdesai and Knicks fan were into this--so maybe it's best to move on so we can get it done.

I think I had a good draft.

Cole Aldrich (C) - backup for Bogut
Derrick Caracter - offensive PF
Jordan Crawford - decent SG

I think Jennings can make those guys better.

Jesus I'm sorry about blowing off my 2nd round pick and holding you guys up. My mom had gotten sick recently (lung cancer) and me and my old man have been running around almost on a daily basis first talking to doctors, going for 2nd opinions etc., now going with her to treatment..Plus the family computer's on the blink - I just had to ship it back to the company to get repaired (can only use the wife's laptop when she's not using it for work, which seems like all day long)..Ahh no excuses man, I should've been paying more attention. I **** the bed here a little bit. I keep monitoring the "who's your pick at 38 & 39" thread, I should've been checking in on this one as well. #34 real crept up quick on me...My bad fellas...Thanks for making the pick for me at 34 Briggs. I do like Warren and I think he's actually a good pick for the Warriors at that spot, esp. if they wind up losing G CJ Watson to free agency. Whiteside & Willie Warren was a good draft here for the Warriors -- I think it'd be a good draft for them in real life as well. Thanks again for letting me participate -- it was a good time. I think everyone made some damn good picks for their teams and I enjoyed reading everyone's reasoning on who they chose...Can't wait for next year.

Thanks my friend. Your kind words me a lot. She had her first chemo treatment today and came away pretty much side-effect free. Knock on wood, it stays that way and these drugs do their thing. She's a fiesty little Italian mamma and a fighter so we got that in our favor. Thanks again nyk.
