Legit charges...no?

Yeah but why is Clyde now calling it flopping?

Old school ballplayer?

Try homerism. Clyde used to praise him and now calls it dropping and flopping.

at least Breen is consistent with his Fishlips' nuts hanging

Normally Clyde avoids obvious homerism but not lately.

How about some freakin defense??? If the Knicks would have played defense in the 2nd quarter, the Rockets would have probably called it a day. Take away 20 of their 45 2nd quarter points and we have a blowout in the making.
Take care of the inevitable run they would have tried and game over in the middle of the 3rd quarter.

Rockets went nuts in the 2nd quarter.

Rockets did this without Shane for the most part too.

Too tired from the D? He did seem more passive toward the end of the game, though.

well sure, if u take away 20 of the Knicks points u can call it the other way too... fact is we had no one taking over in crunchtime & TD forced some very bad decisions on his drives into the paint... that killed us... if we had at least 1 other guy like T-Mac on the floor there are other options... Gallo, Walker, Duhon & Lee were not getting it done on the offense late in the game... T-Mac was effective for half the game but that knee kept him out in crunchtime like i had a feeling it would

The Rockets up their defense late. I'm not a huge Jeffries fan but those charges in the 4th were killers.

yeah those charges were killers but TD needs to be smarter & it would have helped if we had another go to guy in the stretch to create his own shot.

MDA: I got the impression he wanted to play (T-Mac). He looked jacked up.

I hope it translates into games that doesn't involve the Rockets.

If that includes the 2012 first round pick and are 2011 pick I would want Hill and Jeffries back.

Got to give Duhon credit. He had a good game in the loss. TMS is right Sergio appears to be down on the depth charts now. I don't think MDA is a big fan of Sergio.

looks like he can only go hard for 1 quarter at a time & he needs to rest for another quarter at this point... would have much rather he went hard in the 2nd & 4th instead tho.

it's weird cuz MDA was quoted as saying Sergio would get another chance before the season was over, but i don't see it happening w/the way TD is playing now... & once Eddie House comes back that will put him even further down in the depth chart... not that anything MDA says means much of anything.

In his defense. How much did the ball really touch his hands? Ariza was playing him very tight in the 4th. Really up in his face.

well after this game, neither the critics nor the supporters of the T-Mac trade have much to trump the other... both T-Mac & Jordan Hill played well for the most part & Fishlips made a few key plays down the stretch... Sergio got no run so that's 1 point that can be brought up to anyone who thought we'd gained a nice asset in that deal... i don't see his option being picked up this summer.

The real issue for me, is whether he should be guarding Martin or Brooks type players. There is a trade-off when you have Gallinari playing the role that Jeffries did when he was on the Knicks. When Jeffries did it you were not losing much on offense while he was expending all the enegy he put into his D. With Gallo, if his legs are tired, his J will be affected, and he loses a big part of his offensive game.

i agree with u, that's why i was screaming about that a couple times in this game thread... doesn't make sense to me... i don't care what Gallo asks his coach about who he wants to guard, we need to think about what's best for the team... Gallo on Brooks is a severe mismatch in Houston's favor... there was no need to go that way when u had TD on the floor.
