My 35+ years of basketball says Gallo did not play hard--my bet is anyone who really watches basketball would agree with me.

Take away his brickfest shooting tonight and you have an above average NBA PG. His court vision is definitely above average and his ability to throw pin point passes in transition is definitely not average.

When Jennings sat the Bucks looked like a D-League team. Jennings took 7 shots on Tuesday versus Orlando. He hasn't taken 20+ shots in the last 8 games. Delfino decided to show up and Bell has been hit or miss during that stretch. When his teammates are scoring Jennings feeds them. Ersan has been up and down the past 8 games and decided to show up tonight. The only semi-consistent guy Jennings has to work with is Bogut.

A PG shouldnt have to take 20+ shots for his team to have a chance to win. Skiles wants him taking open shots and taking the ball to the rim. Did Jennings not play all of the 2nd half except for 2 minutes in the 4th while the sharp shooting Ridnour collected splinters. Jennings makes his teammates better.

Please tell me what PG's as good as Jennings will be available for us this summer? Last time I checked good PG's dont hit the open market.

If Jennings is playing like this a as a rookie can you imagine him in his 3rd and 4th year?

Did you watch the flippin' game?! I guess its MDA's fault that the Knicks front line gave up countless second chance points in the 2nd half. Knicks turned it over 10 times in the 2nd half, thats MDA's faulr too? Jeez, this is a 25-30 win team, tops They are playing as they should. Very inconsistant.

I did watch the game. How many times did Warrick fly and dunk the ball on offensive rebounds. WTF man. That is coaching. Defense is coaching. Boxing out is coaching. MDA was mic'd up tonight did you hear him say anything that you weren't thinking at home other than telling Nate what to watch for when he ran the pick and roll?

LOL...we heard about a 20-30 second clip of 2 hours of possible footage. You can only coach but so much. Players have to perform. Wathced the Spurs give up a coastly offensive rebound to the Blazers last night. Guess that was Popovichs fault too.

He has been mic'd before and I haven't heard anything other than things like come on guys get back on d etc. The network that edits the footage is owned by the guy that owns the team. I would guess that they would try to show case their guy and his game knowledge.

Your reaching bro. The Knicks upped the ante on the defensive end through much of December. Nevermind what you didnt hear MDA say, but what the team displayed on the floor. 19-10 straight games holding a team under 100 and the defense fg% dropped as well. Right now they are on the low end of the roller coaster ride that most bad teams go through. This is a bad tram no way around it.

The Knicks have played 34 other games other than their 9-6 December. The difference in the team has been that D'Antoni is no longer as rigid about the ssol offense. Slowing things down in December helped alot but there have been three plus months to this season and the Knicks have sucked for 2 and appear to be heading in that direction in February. It will be interesting to see how many posters 'reach' for the December success in March and April if things keep going the way they are.

Speaking of reach, how about guys like you microanalysing every minute play of a rebuilding team trying to place blame on one player or coach or play as opposed to looking at the big picture. This team was destined to be bad the moment Walsh stepped in (they already bad but it had to get worse as we purged the roster). With the exception of about 3 players, everyone else could be gone at seasons end. This team is starting over; has no pg, no center, no who can create plays and make the other teammates better and yet you still want the coach to somehow pull victories out of his ***.

As far as defense, listen, we have been a bad defensive team the moment Van Gundy stepped down. We were a bad defensive team even when Next-Town-Brown was here. Lee is horriful on the defensive end, Nate is invisible with the exception of a steal here and there, Gallo is good for a block or two but guys blow by him like a stop-sign, Al has no interest on the defensive side of the court, etc. I can go on. Yes I know defense is a mentality, but the mentality and culture has been bad here for years. Its going to take years to cleanse that mentality.

This is no rebuilding team--they play the vets to win. Rebuilding would involve playing Hill and Douglas 20+ minutes consistently. This is a shtty team. We really need a C--not 6-9 Jordan Hill--I mean 7 feet tall 250 pounds.

Gallo doesn't look healthy today. I am also a bit disappointed in how he has regressed. The way we want him to play is the way that kid Ilyasov (whatever) played. Agressive and Dynamic. I still like Gallo but there are concerns here.

Lee, of course got his, and gave up just as much. I am getting pretty tired of that. That's not winning basketball. He's a tough one because he is so good on one side but look...it doesn't matter if he's going to bomb the way he does the other way. You need stops in this game to win and Lee can't do that.

Nate....eh, experiment over yet? lol.

Al....is still not healthy. Looks like he's put on weight. Tired of him anyway. I really hope we don't bring him back next year even if we strike out in FA.

Duhon...actually came in and played steady but then turned right back into Duhon. Another guy that has to go.

Just overall it wasn't even basketball I was witnessing. TO drop to the woeful Bucks is terrible. The attitudes are terrible. The lack of giving a crap is terrible.

...Really tired of this team. LeBron will drop 60 on us tomorrow and we will lose by 35.

SEASON OVER....as it has been for some time.

What a shame. Tough to be a fan. Easy to only catch a game here or there like I've been doing. And when I do I regret it.

I thought Jennings was forced to take shots because the Knicks were playing zone. I think his shooting will improve like Paul's. The guy is only 21, that excuse is usually acceptable around here. Ridnour has to be the most overrated pg. Every time I watch him I don't see why so many Knick fans want the guy.

Microanalyzing instead of seeing the big picture? How many minutes did guys with expirings get (Lee, Hughes, Duhon, Harrington, Nate)? How many minutes did the first round picks get? Who is a part of the big picture after this year? If you are thinking big picture why are some of these guys playing? This year is done and has been done since D'Antoni's team came out of camp and lost nine out of ten. In addition to not being a good a coach, D'Antoni needs to move on and stop talking about the playoffs and not playing the guys that are a part of the future.

In my opinion, microanalyzing is having an opinion based on 9 games out of the 49 played.

optimus is a huge jennings fan. although his boy shot bricks tonight.. 8-23 and he shoots 38% on the season.. jennings is not as good as advertised.. not at this point..

You talking like a fool, seriously bro, he ran the team even on a bad shooting night. He had no all-start center to feed tonight and still finished with 8 dimes and 22 points. No healthy redd no bogut and you say he's not as good as advertised.

Gallup was a 3 pt contestant tonight, rather a suburb kid trying to play in a inner city pickup game. He stayed on the perimitter and passed the ball when guys got up in his grille.

shut your mouth clown, you lost all credibility to me bro....you gets no convo from me..

No way--he was playing soft and and without energy--he looked lethargic out there[in fact even Mike Breen said it]. Jees did you buy a box of chocolates for Gallo? Do you throw him kisses or something? David Lee scks and Gallinari is great. This is not a guy shooting 55%--he's shooting below 42% now for the season. He rarely starts games off well and he doesnt play with energy it takes to play a complete game. the guy has great skill and he's 6-11. For him to ever go 2-6 and look like he rather be eating pasta somewhere is disturbing.

Dude he doesnt take 20+ shots on the regular basis. His averages dipped because teams not named the Knicks don't give him lay-ups. Jennings shot has been off for a few games now. He seems to make them when they need them though. The thing is he is consistently running the offense and setting teammates up night in and night out plus his TO's are down. The jumper will come around. By the way the Bucks are 6-4 out of the last 10 while the Knicks with more talent are 3-7. If you have Jennings guys who can run AND score he would be a beast.

My 35+ years of basketball says Gallo did not play hard--my bet is anyone who really watches basketball would agree with me.

in my 35+ years of basketball says gallo played hard but maybe not very well.... My bet is anyone who really watches and knows basketball would agree with me.....

wow.. that was easy...

For him to ever go 2-6 and look like he rather be eating pasta somewhere is disturbing.

why do you watch the knicks? really why? I watch with the hopes that we do the right thing.. build with the young guys hoping they are worthy of being core players..... I hope you are watching for the same reasons..... I don't give a damn about lee, harrington, nate, Al, jeffries.. get them the fck off my team...these guys are playing selfish ball.. they are stat seeking whores right now.... If we lose, lets do it right briggs.. lets give the keys to gallo, chandler, hill, heck even throw in landry.. if we lose every game, then good.. we will know what we have.. lets put these guys in a situation to win and lose.. so they can be fairly judged.. you guys judge gallo as if he was the first option on this team, but honestly, he is treated like a 4th option on a team full of nuts.. we are a 19-30 team for christ sakes!!!!!! what are we doing here!!! I want the chance to see gallo succeed or fail, but I want to see him do so in a REal role, not some BS role where he gets scraps behind guys like lee and harrington.. flawed players who have no business being the focal point of any NBA offense... we have two young lottery picks and one is a 4th option and the other is riding the bench.. that is not right briggs... NOT RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! next year when these other clowns are gone, these kids are going to be put in positions they should have been learning this year.. when will we ever do things right with this team..

So yes, I brought gallo chocolates and flowers, hell someone has to show him some love.....

I know you love jennings.. and I would definately take him over the trash we have now.. but honestly, do you want your PG taking 23 shots? his averaged has dipped like crazy since the start of the season, by almost 11% points.. that is a lot bro... he does run an offense better than duhon, but he is not playing "good" basketball rightnow... when he was... the bucks were winning games...

If you have Jennings guys who can run AND score he would be a beast.

opt.. I don't even want to talk about jennings anymore. heis the bucks problems.. we have our hwo shyt storm to deal with.... LOL
