I always do this lol.

Well, that's debatable, but I do read here, realgm, espn, etc.... and the "lovers" have the guy pegged as making us forget Wilt Chamberlain ever existed. But, well, you know...thats on them for being retarded.

& again, i don't see anyone putting him in the same category as the league's past greats... no one is bringing up Larry Bird comparisons here like they did with Gallo, at least not that i'm aware.

Well, you got that on me, as I don't watch College ball.

As to getting time as I said despite my opinions on him I have always said he NEEDS TO PLAY. Now he's playing so let us see where it goes.

He has to be better than FishLips.

i don't get it tho... u say u don't think young players deserve comparisons to greats of the past, but you made the following statement about Gallo in another thread:

Gallo most certainly has the tools to be the best since Ewing. As of now though he's not....and he has a lot of questions to answer as a player. Health. IQ. Yes, IQ, as he's turned into somewhat of a chucker. I'm unsure whether or not that is his fault or the fault of the system. I'm giving it time. I think Gallo could be an all-star one day. But he has hit a wall recently in terms of what he does and we now need to see more than just a guy that has good range.

It will come for Gallo I think.

now given Gallo has shown much more than Jordan Hill has, but that's also because he's been given that chance... last year i'm sure you wouldn't have made that statement about him... all i'm saying is to keep an open mind on Jordan Hill because he needs to be given a shot to show what he can do... don't judge the kid based on what u see of him when he's not even playing, playing with his hair & whatnot... judge him based on what u see when he's actually on the floor.

What I'm doing is I won't just give players the benefit of the doubt from the start.....until they show me something.

So, no, I don't see why people are putting Jordan Hill on some pedestal, comparing him to Bosh and Duncan, when he's done nothing at all.

Gallo meanwhile he has showed that he has some serious skill. Whether or not he realizes his potential is a different story but he has indeed showed us some pretty impressive moments. In that I have said that if anyone is going to be the best pick since Patrick Ewing ---- Gallo might just be the one some day.

Not today. Some day. Still has to prove it.

Back to Jordan Hill, again, as much as I've come down on him, I have always said he needs to play and there is no reason for him NOT to. It would appear we're finally over that hump and he will indeed now get time. Unless Mike pulls his usual "You aren't playing." -- "Now you're playing big minutes." -- "Ok I'm tired of you back to not playing." garbage....like he has with Nate and Hughes.

i agree, if MDA jerks this kid around it's gonna hinder his development bigtime... just leave him in the rotation now & let him grow.
