Yes, and on the surface that seems ok. But here is the problem with that mark. If we do sign a marginal player we will not be "horrible" enough next year to get a good draft position. Without a good, low, draft position we will not be able to draft championship level talent. It will keep us in the middle of the road so to speak when what we really want is to either be completely to the left side of the road or all the way to the right. We want to either be championship winners or so bad that we have to get a good pick.

Sub, I agree that's a risk. What we absolutely don't want to do is to sign a marginal player this season. Either get a real max FA, or keep the cap space for the following year, and suck enough to ensure a good pick going into the 2011 season.

Looking at what Donnie's been doing so far, however, I don't think that he'll settle for a marginal player.

At any rate, the plan that I'm on board for is to let everyone expire, and build through 2 max FA's and/or the draft. If that's not the plan, then I'm with you. But if it is, I'm willing to wait 2 more years.

The main positive in this gigantic debacle, is that we actually have young pieces.

I want TD, Gallo, Chandler, and Hill to go through their growing pains NOW. Would we have a worse record than 1-9 had TD, Gallo, Chandler, and Hill been starting from day 1? We can lose perfectly fine on our own without these washed up vets, thank you very much.

And I could care less about "showcasing" Harrington, Lee, Duhon, and Jeffries. WE DO NOT NEED TO SHOWCASE THESE PEOPLE. They are terrible basketball players. That's why they've ended up on the fkn Knicks. We don't have our draft pick this year, and I want to WIN AS MANY GAMES AS POSSIBLE. At this point, we're winning games without these suckass vets on the floor.

The play that epitomized our problems was. Down by 11 making a run.. gallo is wide open at the top of the key.. harrington dribbles and dribbles into a double team, loses the ball and they warriors score..

GAme over..

1-9

start Hill, lee, gallo. Douglas and for the love of god, get us a real SG or start landry...

Sounds like a coaching problem
