A re-signed David Lee for Jeff Green, BJ Mullens and Earl Watson?

That would be sweet, although can't the Thunder just sign him outright? (I know the Knicks can match and try and work out a sign and trade but to me that seems like alot to give up)

Depends on how far under the cap they are by. And the 2nd thing would be if the work a sign and trade they can sign another FA with that cap space...That said we probably can't extract that much with our leverage. But I think prying Green or more likely Mullens is possible.

You may be right V.. I hope so. I like Jeff Greens game, I think he would excel here as a PF.

Yeah, I saw that. 60 million. You have to think that if the Blazers lose out on Hedo, they will probably put on the full-court press for Lee.

I don't think so. Blazers want Turk to play sf. Lee is not a sf and they have Aldridge at pf.

I think it is more like if Raptors miss out on Hedo then they go all out for Lee and hopefully we sign and trade him for Bosh .

Actually that would be f'ng awesome! They probably are gonna lose Bosh for nothing. They might do something like Lee + Wilson + 1 1st round pick (lottery protected) for Bosh.

No.

Walsh does not trade Wilson Chandler.

Not even for Chris Bosh. Bosh will be a free agent exactly one year from now and the Knicks have a great presentation in the edit suite.

You say Good-bye (Lee) , I say Hello!

Lee looks more and more like he could stay. Memphis just agreed to a trade for Zach Randolph for Q.
Charlie Villenueva just signed with Detroit for a minimum of 5 yrs for $35 million.
Villanueva.....also agreed to a five-year deal. His contract is worth at least $35 million.

Two potential suiters for David Lee (Memphis and Detroit) are now out of the running. Also, Charlie V's deal sets the standard which David Lee will also get. So the Knicks current offer of $8 million for 4 years for David Lee will probably hold.

I think you're right. Lee won't get more from anyone else. I don't think he'll even get that much. I'm comfortable with Lee in the $7-8 million range.

You can't let Wilson stand in the way of getting an elite athlete at Bosh's level. Anything could happen between now and the 2010 off-season. You have to jump on it when such an opportunity is present. If we get Bosh now, we'll have a huge advantage in re-signing him. (We'd probably just immediately give him an extension actually.) Also, guys like Lebron and Wade would see that there's already a stud big man to team up with in NY. Who's gonna be more likely to draw Lebron here: Wilson Chandler or Chris Bosh?

Here's hoping Jordan Hill can quiet the Chris Bosh to NY talk....

If Bosh played like he did in the 2nd half of last season then I go with Chandler. Even Gus Johnson was calling out Bosh, Gus likes everybody. I got to see what the Knicks have in Hill first before I start going crazy with trades for a guy who is falling apart.

What happened in the 2nd half? I didn't watch many Raptors games, but I see that in April Bosh averaged 23 and 12 and in March averaged 24 and 11. His stats were down in February but he was injured an missed a lot of games.

What happen was he sucked when he was needed the most. Which led to the boos which led to his infamous quote "If I wanted to get booed, I'd go on the road." Bosh was putting up uninspired stats. No real energy in the 2nd half of the season. I want to know which Bosh I am getting.

he's not a guy that has the drive to carry a team. Thats why Amare is simply better. Amare is driven to win and driven to be the best. Amare was quoted as saying his goal (before he was drafted) was to be in the hall of fame. Thats how driven he is. Bosh doesnt inspire me.

Amare is like a lot of guys who talk big.

Bosh had a host of problems last year and we can hope he gets his act together.

Bosh in NY for a sign/trade with lee means we can still land Lebron. In a MDA team the point is the leader. At the very least, Bosh is the third alpha on the court.

Dynamic is a big key. The chemistry is whats gonna drive it. Ruby can grow into himself with Lebrons blessing Gallo is just gonna sit his 6-11 pretty boy self out in 3pt land and rain in the easy ones cuz they got to double lebron, help on bosh, and Ruby can get into the paint.

Its my hope at least.

Don't worry about bosh being the savior. Bosh is a good "robin" but he ain't batman!
