Blake Griffin is an agile Karl Malone. This guy is a 25-12/13 powerhouse NBA PF franchise player

Please rig the draft Stern!

screw raising the NBA age limit entry too...hello, people should be able to make what they want...it ain't fair or in the spirit of the so-called "free-market."

All that free market stuff is a lie. America as a whole is rigged to benefit a few. NCAA system is a great example. The essentially force college b-ball players into indentured servitude, to serve the coffers of the NCAA elite. Its really sick when you think about it. They're making millions off these kids backs.

seb, hey, i agree, that's why i put the "free market" in quotes.

i think college sports are silly, in the sense that the level of play is pretty professional, yet they don't get paid. in other countries, good players get paid for their work at this level. hello...even baseball A-AAA guys get paid. but college sports? nope. it's illegal.

they get "scholarships" for degrees most won't even use or don't have passion for like b-ball (at this point in many players' lives). and this even happens for non-athletic students.

such a "free market" we live in huh?

going out on "a limb"...if we truly have a "free market" (which we don't) college sports should be like intramural levels or eliminated as systems of wealth accumulation (contrary to our systemic structures), and the good players should get really paid as professionals.

it's funny, when finance "experts" can take their "knowledge" and use the superiority of possessing it to dispossess others, as "part of the game" but for sports figures, they are "taking advange" a la like when A-Rod signed his mega-deal with Texas, or other players who try to get paid the most they can for what they do. As if the rest of us don't.

"Yeah, i know i am not that good, so i'l take less"

ha!

yeah right.

our entire world is based on profit, so what else is there but manipulating this system for one's benefit?

Great game. Sam Young is a man among boys. Best SF in the college game right now IMO. When he's forced to put it on the floor way out high he runs into a little trouble at times but ALL the other dimensions to his are solid and NBA-ready. The shot fake of his reminds me of the dramatic one Nate uses... Blair hits a few FTs, Pitt wins that game. Tough break. Watch, his FT shooting mechanic will be altered once he hits the pros. He just has too many things going on there in that FT motion (the big dip, etc...). I think both Young and Blair cemented themselves as mid 1st round picks. If the Knicks were ever able to get both in the draft it would be a blessing.

Too much slurping of Izzo this week. You knew it was a setup for a blowout.

UNC has so many players its really crazy. Why do you go to UNC if you're a recruit?

The odds of getting 20 min a night aren't good no matter who you are.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

It was over in the first 2 minutes.

Word on the street is that Roy Williams tears of joy are already forming.

UNC's playing PsychoT at the 3 at times. Just not fair that they have so much size, and Ellington or Green can stretch the defense all by themselves.
