The game was there for the taking..... in the THIRD quarter. I guess you could say it for both teams as neither team seemed willing to execute their way to a 7 or 9 point lead.

Duhon, eh, he ran two plays that he screwed up multiple times. One was the drive real deep and wrap it around to Lee close in for a layup - unfortunately it worked twice and failed miserably oh what four times? The other was a fake drive and pull out which led to his (I'm assuming tired back) giving out which led to him dribbling into his own shins which led to at least 2 turnovers if not 3.
There's your game, Gents! That simple. That's the NBA for ya.
All in all they fought real hard. When they gave up Mike got on them and they RESPONDED and fought hard yet again.
Why oh why did Harrington not shoot that immediate three at the end? Or Duhon when he got the surprise kickout? I don't know. Can't say either shot goes in though so be it. Game was "lost" earlier.
I liked the effort, I liked the game, can't ask for anything else.
Shame to see Nate and Jeffries come back, make a huge difference, only to go back (most likely) on an extended IR each. Oh well...what can ya do. At least it shows what I was preaching in my other thread: We get more bodies back we're much more competitive.
Ah well... On to Sunday's SLAUGHTER.
pretty much How i feel. down here in Atlanta after the game, we are at the bars, the fans were loving harrington for not taking that shot... No one still knows why he passed on that open look...
