Is it just me, or is anyone else hoping that it is Camby comes back instead of Thomas?

So, any more doubt as to what direction this team is taking has to be going by the wayside...

Steph's benching was the first step, albeit one that caused confusion, but I think the goal and plan has been the same.

Oh it's a great rotation. If I'm a Clips fan, I worry about ego management. Three above average players and one of them is going to the bench. I mean, I know it's not going to happen and the clips will keep that rotation, but i can hope. Right?

Yeah, I agree, Clippers want a Camby-Randolph front court. That's why they do this trade.

Then I can just see it: Kaman to Charlotte for Gerald Wallace. That makes sense for them as well.

Not a bad shot here by the Clippers.
Warriors make out okay I guess but they have a serious roster problem with all those guards. I guess Jamal is their new starting PG.
Knicks make out well if both go down for 2010 and in the meantime Harrington/Mobley can step right in and start and although neither is great neither is a bum. We may have a scoring problem while it's worked out who picks up the extra points left behind - but I bet Al and Mobley would both score more here in this system and that Chandler and Nate get the rest.

I got to say I'm not so sure this trade, while giving us a great head start on 2010, actually makes us a worse team - jeopardizing our ~.500 play.

I guess, that's chat for when/if the Randolph deal goes down.

Until then, I'm going to be heavily distracted.

I'd go with Randolph not getting traded. Yeah, I'll go with that, cause now even worse than the offseason I want him gone. I dunno why, he's played very well, but, eh... 43% PF? Yeah, I think that's why.

Don't worry though, once the dust settles from all of this, and I explore the idea of packaging Lee with Curry to finish off this mess, I'll go right on back to turning Marbury threads into multiple page extravaganzas of insanity.
