Kobe looks a little like Marbury for that matter... just no cohesion... no leadership... no desire to win this game... Celtics are wiping the floor w/these guys... what an embarassment.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

if rondo can get some confidence in his shot...he will be a VERY good nba player. the guy's defense is already there.

kobe has not raised the level of play in his teammates during these finals.

the kobe/mj comparison (which was alwasy amusing) are officially DEAD.

i shake my head in disbelief when people write him off as just a guy riding coattails. he is a good orchestrator of the offense and an excellent distributor in transition. he is a perfect fit there and i still contend he could've had the same impact here on the defensive end and dishing to our scorers as well

Congrats to KG, Allen and Pierce. I've always liked KG and Allen so I'm happy to see them get a championship. I've never thought much of Pierce but he's really impressed me on both ends and he deserves his championship, likely as the MVP.

Congrats to Doc and Thibodeau, I'm very happy for them.

i agree...rondo can slice and dice a defense w/ ease on the offense. he's always looking for the open man (and this goes back to last year as well).

We took that loser in Renaldo Balkman over Rondo when we needed a PG. God damn I hate these Knicks.

He might. But don't bank on him wanting to play for D'antoni. Kobe actually will want to play defense if he chooses to change cities.

yeah, that's why i said he was riding on the big 3's coattails... you guys are talking him up like he's special.

& i agree, he'd be the only guy on the Knicks that plays D... so would Bruce Bowen, Reggie Evans, Raja Bell... these guys aren't special either, they're role players... Boston has a core of quality vets & the role players play their role & the team D is awesome... take those role players away from the big 3 & put them on other teams like the Knicks that don't have a core of quality vets & they're not nearly as effective.

never said they don't translate... doesn't make someone a special player either... nice try w/ur dig on the riding coattails notion but it didn't work... Rondo's not a great player, he's a role player like Raja Bell & Leandro Barbosa, plain & simple.
