I don't think its that - they were having a tough time matching up and playing D when they were in. They were too small of a unit.

That's what happens when you draft a guy as small as Nate.

Nelson for 38 million is a nice price.

Magic are building the right way.

Batman through draft.

Robin through free agency.

And they still have MLE's and pieces to build a contender.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

They must be consistant every game. Well weve got to put this on behind us and learn from it.

I think the lesson here is -

We're never gonna outscore teams. Teams like Orlando, Cleveland, etc, have enough defense to contain us JUST ENOUGH, and have killer 3-PT shooting.

Same will go for Toronto, Boston, etc.

I don't mind keeping Randolph b/c atleast he's a consistent force.

But we need to RENOVATE the ENTIRE team with defense, b/c you simply can't outscore teams in the paint.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

You guys remember the Patino team the bomb squad. Orlando seems to be playing that game but with bigger and more athletic players. They will go far this year. This loss is more on the guards than anyone else on the Knciks. No energy from the guards. They made Nelson look like an All Star. Thanks Marbury, Nate and Crawford.

ZR and Q both did alright. Q with some good D and what, 19 points? ZR showed some good hustle and D and ended up with 23 and 13. Two steals as well.

He was just way too quick. And you know what happens whenever an opposing player reaches the paint... usually an easy bucket.

I like dwight, but the guys offensive game is the equivalent of marvin webster(post knee surgeries) and yet he gets lost on the baseling for ally oops which is 99% of his horrible offensive game.. curry has to do a better job, and to let him get that many boards, I put that partly on curry, heck zack did his job tonight. geez.

nelson outplayed marbury, that was the key, and letting hedo stankglu get off is a damn joke..

this was a loss we saw comming.. right?
