Who cares where it started? The NBA started without black people playing? What is your point? Those same rappers who started it are not selling now. No one listens to their garbage anymore. Their style of hip hop died. Hustler musik aint dead.

LIl Wayne, a southern rapper, outsold the God himself Jay Z

Aww, yall mad

Yo BP did you see my chart last page I broke it down for you that Wayne never sold more than Hov on any of his albums. "Hustlers Muzik" is just the same crap over and over again with different beats and samples.

Dude, you aint even posted Wayne numbers for his last three CDs. What you break down? Are you illiterate? Wayne last 3 outsold Jay's last 3. Do your homework and post the real numbers so you can look like a damned fool.

I don't show love for 40 year old rappers.

What are you talking about. It is evendent that Wayne last 3 never outsold more than Hov's last 3. The first of waynes last 3 didn't even go plat. Hov's black album sold over 4 mil and lets not get into what Kingdome come can do with it's history making 1st week. Also are you high or slow Hov is what 36 and a legend.

all of these rappers held the crown for one summer at least and all of them at their peaks, were a notch above Wayne lyrically

Who said it was about lyrics?

Then whats the point of rapping when you dont have any lyrical skills. That is why it is wack now because guys like cam'ron can getaway with saying things like "That rooti, tooti, fruity, Louie, what I usually do" and Wayne with half the garbage things he says.

Once again, I am going to tell you that its HUSTLER MUSIK. Damn who can rhyme the best. Its about money. Who can rhyme the best don't mean anything. You can be the best rhymer and still be broke. Ask Rakim.

Wake up, it's about money.

Thats why hip-hop as an artform is DEAD....

Rakim anyday would say Lyrical Talent over money, that is what Hip Hop is. The music today is cooperate spitouts.

There aint a man alive who would turn down millions of dollars over some fricken lyrical skills.

You dreaming dawg

Hardly any Mcs are making as much as they portray reguardless. By the time they pay off everyone they have to pay off for there ablum they could end up being broke again.

Most of the Mcs are selling a fantasy to keep there image intact. But you know who is making money? There bosses & there bosses bosses. The people who sign them & the people who the people who signed them work for. Which is probably some rich white male who doesn't give a crap about hip hop.

So at the end of the day these Mcs offer music with hardly any substance. sell & brain wash young adults with a bunch of negative influences offering a fantasy lifestyles which effect the black community in a negative way rather than positive. Don't get paid very much to do it at the end of the day, while getting the owner of the entertainment company rich.

Mcs today are getting pimp'd like the whores they sold themselves out to be.

One of the greatest songs ever.

"I came in the door, i said it before
I never let the mic magnatize me no more
But it's biting me, fighting me, inviting me to rhyme
I can't hold it back, I'm looking for the line"

^^^Nobody in "Hustlers Muzik" can mest with that line alone.

Cash Money owns their record label. Same way Suge owned Death Row.

DO your homework before you spew that ignorance. And for the last time, hip hop is the voice of the streets -- they aint beatboxing no more dawg. They shooting and cooking crack.

It's 2007
