We all also say Greg Anthony sucked. Does that make anything right? Just because we all said it isn't an excuse. This is my basic argument. Why is Zeke the only guy being held to a higher standard? I was sure Anthony had said something to set Isiah off but nixluva confirmed it. Maybe it was something worse that we didn't hear. Did Isiah have to get personal? Did Greg Anthony have to suggest Isiah drafted Balkman cause of the agent?
If that set him off fine. If it's a one time thing, fine. If he is extremely sensitive to it, fine. If this was a one time thing. It isn't.
This makes 2 reporters/journalists/columnists in 2 years that Isiah has blown up at. Does that not concern you? He threatened to kick one's ass and he shat on the other one's career. He somehow said that saying something negative about what Isiah did, somehow made Anthony not an ex-Knick.
There seems to be a pattern here, IMO. Waht, will Isiah not be happy until the media doesn't question him? That everything he does is good? Do we have to hold him in a bubble?
You talk about holding Isiah to a higher standard. I want Isiah held to the New York standard. Joe Torre, Pat Riley, Willie Randolph, Mike Keenan, Gary Carter, Patrick Ewing, Charles Oakley, John Starks, Ernie Grunfeld, Jeff Van Gundy, Bernie Williams, Jeter, Paul O'Neil, Rivera, Wright, Reyes....All these guys have it. This is the standard I hold ALL NY sports figures and figureheads to.
