Eddy is calling for the ball, and doing something with it when he has it. When there's nothing there he is passing out to wide open shooters.

This is much different than Eddy of '05.

Eddy also is in the mix at the end of games now, which never happened before.

Eddy's TO's are up and so are his PF's. Yeah he's doing something with it alright.

Much different Eddy.

eddy's in a nice streak. he'd be a nice player to have if he could keep this up.

he's had these streaks before. he's never kept them up. he's always had his regressions back into the player he was earler this season.

let's see where he goes with this.

The true test will be how he responds after he has a bad game... which I hope doesn't happen anytime soon.

What do you mean his fouls are up? What are his fouls per minute in '06 vs. '05? Guaranteed that they are down by 50%. He used to get three fouls in ten minutes last year.

a .5 fpg increase averaged over an increase of 6.5 mpg is a pretty good improvement... stop it isles, this is when you get annoying... i know you hate Isiah but when you're closing your eyes to the improvement that Curry is clearly showing it just makes everything else you say (alot of which has alot of merit) that much less credible.

Dude, go back to math class

TO per minute 2005-2006 - .096
TO per minute 2006-2007 - .103

PF per minute 2005-2006 - .127
PF per minute 2006-2007 - .116

so basically his TO's are the same and his Fouls are down 10%
his scoring and assists per minute are also up.
He's a more efficient player... period.

It's true--- he's fouling less.
.117 fouls/min this season
.127 fouls/min in 05-06

During his streak, it'd be interesting to see if he's gotten in foul trouble at all in the first half. The main thing is his minutes seem to be limited by Thomas's strategy, and not his foul total.

By not getting in foul trouble early, he's able to play defense more confidently throughout the game.

I'm sorry I misread your post, I didn't see the "per minute" and just posted the overall fouls. I'm very sorry for this mistake and I hope you cutout the insults next time. So sorry.

Perhaps the refs are getting more accustomed to Eddy Curry

How about the fact that Eddy is only 24 years old?

Remember when people would bash Eddy (rightfully so) for being inconsistent?

Its a pretty cool feeling now to know you have 18-20ppg-8rpg night in and night out!
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

Remember the same people who called him lazy, who never set foot in a Knicks practice, ever?

Celtics center Al Jefferson banged with Curry all night long. After the game, he rubbed his sore chest and said, "Man, Curry's a beast."

So are you saying Curry wasn't out of shape in prior seasons and that these people were wrong. It's funny because if you search google you will find quotes from Skiles, Isiah and Curry that say his biggest problem in the past is coming into the season out of shape. It was an accurate assessment. People were asking him to change. Not hating him. but asking him to change. Still not sure what the problem is with that. Actually I find something wrong in not asking.
I just hope that people will like me

Curry is still lazy. His defense still stinks because of it. On offense he's always been interested in getting his.
