It looks like Kurt's time is up with the NY Knicks. He always came to work hard and was a true professional. He is not the most gifted player but stepped up and did a lot for this ballclub during his tenure. I wish him the best. If he is going to the Suns, he will really help out. He gives them a veteran frontcourt presence. The Suns don't want a guy that needs the ball in the post. They want a tough player, a guy who can work a great pick and roll with Nash and will see so many open mid range shot. He is actually a very nice complement to Amare. Amare still needs a lot of work on his shot. Kurt can come off the bench and play the 4 or 5. Plus, they are probably scared to lose Hunter this summer so Kurt will help there. If anything, the Suns lacked some toughness on the defensive end and maybe Kurt will help. They also got hurt by guys like NAzr on the offensive boards. Good luck kurt and i wish you all the best. You put your time in and you deserve to win a little now.

Has any Knick ever won a 3pt shooting contest? Did Trent Tucker ever win?

Kurt does deserve some appreciation. He was one of the toughest Knicks we had on the team the past few years. Despite avoiding the paint for the outside jumper, he was never afraid to throw his body in the lane and take a charge...can't say that about as many guys on the roster as I'd like.
Thanks for all you've done Kurt, but it really was time for you to go.

It's not Kurt's fault that he had absolutely no low post game. He did the best he could to his abilities. Its too bad the other Knicks could do that as well.

KT was all heart, personally I'm going to miss him and the knicks will no doubt miss his toughness.

Now lets get rid of Tim Thomas already

thank you kurt, without you the knicks would be dominated so badly inside that we could've just called off games before they started. We always could depend on that jumper and you kept up your promises such as to average a double double this year.
Good luck wherever you go!

Dear KT:
You were one of my favorite Knicks and as a die hard basketball fan, I appreciated everything you brought to the table. I was so proud of you the last season b/c you worked on your foul and technical foul woes, and suddenly people realized you're a very smart bball player. I, for one, am gonna miss you just as much as Allan Houston and I hope you win a championship very soon. I think you'll have the perfect role next to Amare and Nash and you're gonna make the Suns a better team. I wish you luck.

Kurt was an ok player that played really hard for the Knicks...However, he wasn't a good fit and should have been moved a long time ago. Thanks for the hard work, you gave it your all....May you be blessed as Nazr and Anderson..

Kurt Thomas is as true blue and orange as any Knick has been. He came to play everynite, played out of position almost every nite, played injured and did his best every single nite for the New York Knicks. Kurt your toughness and defense will be sorely missed by most Knicks fans (the ones who don't have their heads in their @$$'s and aren't grateful for just how much you've done here). Thankyou Kurt and best of luck in Phoenix.

Kurt was a smart, talented veteran who always gave his all on the court. We were lucky to get him. I wish him good luck in Phoenix.

He asked for a trade. Which means we weren't worthy of his services. Well to that I say let the Sweetney Era begin. He has whinned his way into the lineup bitched his way into the lineup all for what a player who is athletically limited and a 10-10 player. He played great defense only in the NYK fans eyes. Its about time the KNicks parted ways with KT they should have done it 3 years ago. The Knicks would be better for it. Now you guys will really enjoy the KNicks, great things are happening here.
THANKS KURT
