This is the main problem with the team.

I wish we could erase 3 of them off the roster right now.....but that won't happen. Plus if the Knicks do make some trades they are definately going to have to take some players back.

The options are slim.

Maybe Rose can be traded to Houston for Weatherspoon. They know what Rose means to Texas and he would provide good veteran depth behind Howard when he comes back. They needed a Malik Rose type during these playoffs.

KT could be a good option for Memphis. There is that Gasol article saying he needs help inside. KT could be Gasols body guard. Fratello would love to have him I'm sure. Any trade with Memphis is gonna send back a player....I'd gladly take Posey for KT.

That leaves us Maurice Taylor and Sweets. Now I believe in Taylors ability to score. If it were up to me we would give him the starting position outright and have Sweets come off the bench.

JYD would have to be looked at as a small fwd.

Depth chart after these trades are made?

pf Mo Taylor/Sweets
sf Posey/Ariza/JYD
c Butler
pg Marbs
sg Craw/Houston

Funny shyt is these trades can't be made till after the draft.

Still.....there has to be a blue print of some kind. The Knicks can't just draft Taft or someone big unless they have a spot for them to play. Maybe Taylor and/or Sweets have good seasons and all of a sudden we won't need a big man.

It's has got to be the most frustrating thing we have to deal with this off-season because it effects everything the Knicks will do from the draft to free agency to trades.

With all the stuff I mentioned.....how can we not buyout Timmy and Penny? It makes no sense to trade them and pile on more contracts. The team is screwed as it is.

here's where I slightly disagree. I would still take a PF if that player was the BPA. Mo T and JYD have 2 years left. I think KT hasnt been traded because the only offer where equal value was coming back was the Drew Gooden trade, and Cle nixed it.

I think Rose is a great bench player whether he stays or goes and can play anywhere with any group. Same with JYD. Also gone in 2 years is Houston and Shandon (contract only).

I would say Penny gets bought out if no deal can be made. No way he's invited to camp. As for TT he's trading deadline fodder (I hope).

It was just who I had left after those trades are made.

Any moron with a f'ing Clue knows that the only way the Knicks will get a center is if they draft one or sign one.

I just can't see the Knicks making any extra deals until something is done about these power fwds. Rose I think wouldn't mind not playing because of how professional he is. Still how does the team get better with too many player stacked at one position?

I believe in drafting the best players available too.....but geez man....another power fwd? It would be a crime to have a #8 pick sit on the bench a rot....like Sweetney did before Isiah came over.

Also Timmy and/or Penny would just bring in more players. What if Isiah drafts Granger? Timmy would definately have to go. Why keep him around with Granger and Ariza?

It's just frustrating.

Did you see where he said trade for Weatherspoon. lololol. He said trade Malik Rose for Clarence Weatherspoon.

Someone tell him that they play the SAME POSITION!!!!

I can see why you would take a PF if he was the best player available. We desperately needa frontcourt player for marbury to work with but the thing is..the bpa won't be a big...its going to be a SG or SF. If Bynum isgone we need a SG like Wright or Webster

YOu don't buyout Timmy and Penny until every option has been exhausted. That means after the trade deadline. It just doesnt make sense to do it any other way.

This draft is full of Pg's and Pf's and we may end up with a pf. There are not many C's in this draft and the ones thatare there are projected as late-mid first rounders. If the bpa is a pf or a sg so freaking be it. We can use the expiring contracts to make other moves.

Look clown, don't get mad at me cause MS made you look like the lame you are.

Weatherspoon would still be on the roster this upcoming season. You always make stupid trade proposals. Must be in your blood. You must be part idiot?

what draft has had many C's who actually crack rotations? This draft actually has some centers that will actually play!

Then Butler's a legit 6'9.5" (unless he's grown since then) b/c all players listed heights are with shoes on.
