Yeah! They made it against practically many odds. The eyes of everyone were on Wade to dominate the game and carry the team to its first finals. But the Pistons are still the champs for something! Yeah! A great game, very hard fought! A lot of D! Just like I would dream the Knicks to be. Thats all, dream.

Next up, San Antonio, in The Ultimate NBA Finals! First game final score 54-50? Haha!

I wanted a Shaq-Duncan final!

but it feels good knowing Zo didn't get a cheap ring when Ewing deserved it more!

All I have to say is go detroit...that way, Nazr will be denied as well. I don't know how many articles I read saying he was the reason they won, when clearly it was ginoboli (sp?)...I guess the new york media just can't help themselves in taking pot shots at the knicks.

Eff Zo...I like him as a citizen and what he does for communities and kindey failure, but to not play and only demand to play for a championship contender is hog wash.

You play to play, see Reggie Miller. see Ewing (though getting shipped out, it was a demand and he didn't want to go)

Miami will win next year, we just need the pistons to knock out Nazr.

I got no bad wishes for Nazr. I won't really care if he misses out on a ring, but I'll be glad for him if he gets one.

SA is going to take care of business fast and put Larry Brown out of his misery. The thing with SA is they cn shut a team down also and pile on points. This is going to be a boring one sided series.

can't you say the same for detroit? maybe less so, but you have to guard all five starters and their first few guys off the bench. if they can beat shaq and wade, they can contain duncan. i'm not necessarily calling a pistons repeat, but they're still getting written off too soon by a lot of people.

That's EXACTLY what everyone said last year before Detroit took LA out 4-1.

This is gonna be a series too ugly to watch... but if I had to root for a team I'd go for SA. They're more fun to watch, I'd like to see if Manu can still penetrate the Pistons D.

I was cheering heavily for Detroit last time round vs Lakers, but now that they're on top I'd like SA to win.

San Antonio in 6.

I dunno, I'm kinda starting to severely dislike Manu "the flopper" Ginobili, add Bruce "wasn't me" Bowen ...

On the other hand there's Antonio "woe is me" McDyess

Still not sure who I'll be rooting for actually, just hope they make it close games.

This series is really good. If Detroit beats Duncan then they have really proved that they are a great TEAM. They said Detroit wouldnt have won last year if Shaq and Kobe had played the right kinda game. Well those guys better shutup if Detroit wins this year against a really great SA team.

If the Spurs win, they are powerhouse of te 00's after the first 3 Laker years. Duncan is a beast and he makes players like Manu and Parker seem that much better.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

It's not about anti Nazr, it's about the press attempting to rub Zeke's nose in taking Rose and two LATE first round picks for him.

If he wins, they will say it was a bone head trade. I've not heard a peep about the suns and Shandon since they have gone away.

I don't know. It's kind of a shame Miami didn't win. I know injuries are a part of the game, but if Wade was healthy for game six and seven, Miami is definitely winning one of those two games. They almost won with him at 75% at best in game seven. Not to mention Shaq not being himself healthwise. So Detroit is lucky to be in the Finals the way I see it. Go Spurs!
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

when wade had that injury in game 6,i knew instant championship was put on a work stoppage: and i'm not referring to shaq who had above series average production last night. damon jones was a no show, eddie jones was only good in the first 10 minutes. miami only hit 2 from down town all night and had nothing coming off the bench. couple that with wade who always has a great last quarter finale just ran out of gas and refused to score.....none of which was wade's choice.

detroit is the defending champion, and has come up clutch with rasheed wallace, rip "loose" hamilton and Chauncey "bigups" billups. if you need a definition of underrated, look no further to rip and chauncy......better yet just watch them in the post season.

the difference between detroit and spurs is that detroit is healthy, and has better arsenal of players........take that to the bank and watch how detroit repeats
"Like they always say, New York is the Mecca of basketball,"I read that in Michael Jordan books my whole life and I played here in the Big East tournament, so it's always fun to play in the Mecca of basketball."---Rip Hamilton

One great thing about this series is we get to se our Starting center and PF. Nazr and Dyess. You got to feel good for Dyess after all those knee surgeries. As for Nazr he is playing well with Duncan he might have played like this had Dyess been healthy.
