BRIGGS, you are hysterical!!!

I love your enthusiasm but that picture shows absolutely nothing about how well a 7-footer "gets up!"

More telling is picture #6 which shows that HE LOST TOO MUCH WEIGHT TOO FAST - HE HAS NO F'G MUSCLE TONE LEFT!!!!!!

We didn't see him actually dribbling but from pic #5 it looks like he's comfortable dribbling the ball, which is rare for a 7 footer.

Can we get pics throughout his life. You know, when he got onto a school bus for his first day of school as a little kid? Maybe some pics of him blowing out candles at his birthday parties too?

I like picture #2. One thing you can tell in all the pictures was that he was enjoying himself and looks like he wants to be there. The anti-Taft workout if you believe some of these reports.

He looks great dribbling the ball, but what is scary is that I noticed Billy Knight, GM of the Hawks is sitting in the backround. Just take Marvin Tim Thomas Williams there Billy, we ned a !1

This just confirms speculation that the Hawks are going to take the Bobcats offer. They think they can get D Williams and Bynum, but are concern about the Knicks and Lakers interest in Bynum. Another plan is to take a 4 and 5 with those picks and get Louis Williams in the 2nd round.

Glad someone else saw that to. He's going to need to work on strengthing his upper body development and build some mass to his chest and arms.

he measured out at 7-1 282 pounds for that workout, what do you expect a 17 year old to be built like arnold? He has good muscular tone to his body, look at the picture dribbling the ball or slamming it. what did your arms look like when you were 17? If he stood next to Kurt Thomas right now, hed dwarf him, within one year he will simply overpower and destroy him.

thats speculation but its damn good speculation... you should write for the Post :)

My biggest concern would be he goes before 8. I still believe we could get a very good player at 8 and I think we do, but considering the next 2 years are about playing out the strong of bad contracts NOW is the time to get a 2 year project like this.

I love the new Bynum banner on the front page...

Obviously, Bynum is a major project, but he's a project with a high ceiling. I'm glad the Knicks have lined up a private workout, and I hope they come away impressed.

Marvin Tim Thomas Williams? TT displays no desire, no work ethic, no heart. Marvin Williams is the opposite -- the guy works his butt off and was willing to take a back seat role to better the team when he was the 3rd best player on that team. Aside from that he is an incredible kid. He is quiet off the court but is filled with emotions and intensity on the court. He has never gotten into any trouble off the court and his teammates and coaches rave about him.

Now you're going to compare a guy like that to Tim Thomas who is soft and has no work ethic?

If you take Bynum at 8 and he turns into Oliver Miller or any of the other bigs that didn't pan out, and you've passed up better, solid players in the process, you're digging a deeper hole.

Yeah everytime I see Briggs talking about how Bynum lost weight for these workouts, I keep thinking about about the Big O. Phoenix is still waiting for him to drop that cheeseburger. Sweetney and Bynum at a all you can eat buffet does sound good though. What I wouldn't give to see Sweetney just stomach someone next season. He should add that to his post up moves. Pivot, stomach and shoot. That would be NBA Fantastic.

BRIGGS, you are officially classified as a stalker. I would like you to report to the nearest precinct and identify yourself as the stalker/predator of a 17 year old boy named Andrew Bynum.

It just makes sense to go that route and pick up a center. We have marbury getting minutes at PG, crawford getting SG minutes, ariza getting sf minutes, sweetney getting pf minutes. its pretty obvious that all we need now is a young center. why would we draft a pg,sg,sf, or pf and have them take minutes away from our current young players, which would also devalue them. you have to take risks to succeed.

We're weak at every position except PG and statistically, we were by far the weakest at SF last season. Bynum is my first choice, but unlike most people, I'm acknowledging that drafting him could turn out to be a disaster (or it could be wonderful).
