Raymond Felton, Monta Ellis, Pops Mensah-Bonsu, Steven Smith

I wonder if Isiah is interested in the High School PG (Monta Ellis) and wants to see how he stacks up against a proven college vet.

very interesting group. If we could get a fairly high pick and a decent player for Marbury I would draft Felton in a heartbeat.

Maybe Jay Williams, Mike Miller and pick 19 for Marbury and pick 30

you really think Jay Will is better than Marbury?

I'm confused as to why that trade is even being thought of...is it the addition of Mike Miller? I'm sure we could draft Mike Miller with Pick 30.

all kool aid all the time.

If Isiah did draft Felton, can't say I would be pissed, he would actually be backing up his words of building an up-tempo team.

I sure hope Isiah wouldn't select Felton with the 8th pick. If he can move (which I doubt) for another pick in the teens and Felton is there then I'm fine with that.

they're working out Wayne Simien and Eric Williams tomorrow. I wouldn't mind snagging EW at 30. Simien won't fall that far.

Anyone else think the list of guys the Knicks have worked out is a little strange for someone who holds the 8th pick in the draft?

I know supposedly they've worked out Charlie Villanueva, Taft and Blatche, but there's no word of it on the site.

The only lotto guy they've worked out is Felton and maybe Warrick, who isn't even a lock to go lotto. Where is the official workout for Frye, Taft, Blatche, Splitter?

Splitter is in Spain for the playoffs. There are 20 days left prior to the draft. Isaih might want to check out the higher rated players in the anonymity of the group workouts scheduled in Chicago.

I like Eric Williams. If he measure in at 6'10 or taller, he'd be a great #30 pick. Reminds me of Marc Jackson of Philly.

I'm annoyed that MSG doesn't do shows like that. They too busy trying to make shows that would apeal to the hip-hop generation. Look at the Yess network.....all Yankees all the time. MSG needs to be more like them. More shows like "Centerstage" and more old school Knick and Rangers games. Broadcast all the Liberty games at least!!!

MSG sucks.

it's funny how felton and ellis talk about nash, kidd, and billups but no marbury when interviewed by a knicks site.

anyways, it is weird whom they're working out. this leads me to believe that isiah made some sort of deal with a player already, either euro or american.

but there's 4 more weeks to go so there's a lot of time left...

yeah, there is a ton of time, but I would think that Zeke would want to get Taft and Frye in for private workouts to see what they've got and to judge their personalities up close.

also, I totally agree with the MSG stuff. There should be so much more great Knicks coverage that wouldn't even require a high paid announcer or any sort of production. Show me all the summer league games. show me what you can of the workouts (is it legal? they might not want other teams scouting the workouts, I guess).

I guess there has to be a certain secrecy to the draft process, but I'd like to see more Knicks coverage that didn't involve following Tim Thomas to his old high school...

I like Pops too Briggs. I got to see him a few times since he was in the A10 and I got to see him live when he came up to Kingston and GW absolutely trashed URI 68-39. Pops got in foul trouble but in the 20 or so minutes that I saw him out there but when he was I was amazed at his ability... he's amazingly quick for a 6'9 guy and loves to throw down, he was hellbent on getting to the rim for a huge dunk everytime he touched the ball. His quickness, ability, and body type really remind me of Amare Stoudamire, both athletic freaks and part of the new trend of NBA PF's. Pops was really agressive on the other side of the ball too, he was running around out there like you think he was a guard, in that respect he reminded me of JYD but with great shotblocking ablitiy.

I'd take Pops in an instant if he's available to us, I really think he's going to be a solid player in the NBA

Monta Ellis is apparently rising on a lot of boards and the Nets, for one, have serious interest.

Knicks participated in the Taft workouts. I guess they didn't like what they saw because he wasn't invited back for a private showing. I think the Knicks have worked out Blatche. I don't think Splitter made himself available for workouts which adds to the speculation that he may pull his name out.

I hope that Isiah doesn't make the mistake that majority of you wants for him to make. Isiah is a brillian man and he knows that he must invest heavily to strengthen our frontcourt....I hope that whatever he does, that he decides to acquire 2 big men to address the Center position....You don't let your chances vanish like that, especially with the crop of big men we have out there...If watching Amare doesn't put a bitter taste in Knicks fans, I don't know what will. who did we pick before Amare???? exactly, a much shorter and less athletic kid...

I wouldn't mind taking Pops at that spot unless you tell me we are able to get rid of our PFs. I think Jackie Butler can be a servicable player if given the proper playing time. At this time I would say that KT should be moved. I would like to see the Knicks think about drafting a SG in this draft too, I would prefer a Euro since we can keep him off the roster for a year or two. If he is there a SG name Gelabale would be a nice pick up for the Knicks.

Tiago is still playing in the Spanish playoffs,so he can't really schedule anything as of now.
