Hmm, another consideration for 'Game of the Week'. I don't think I'll be able to watch it if I don't get to see Ariza/Sweets for 30+minutes, and atleast a brief appearance from Jackie.

This game could go either way so I have no prediction on this game. I due want to see the young guys get some minutes its really the only reason I'll watch.

no defense, both teams were out of it.

all in all, a good game for the team: trevor and sweets played 30 minutes (sweets would've had more if he didn't foul out) and the Knicks got the precious loss.

For draft sake Im real happy we lost but then again we lost to the worst team in the league and apparently the Knicks (with the highest payroll in the league)were trying and still lost.Cant be happy about that.

win or lose that was the best game of the year, for some reason we played bad teams very tight and usually escaped but the law of averages caught up with us, the knicks played well but anyone who watched that game knows the hawks deserve the W even if Josh Smith did call TO with 2 seconds left.

i always like to say there is good and bad, and people who do not understand why we need additional leverage in the draft just look to this game. the Hawks won 3 times on the road all year 3--we have some good things but we also have some bad things and we need the hIGHEST leverage we can get in the draft to hopefully remedy this in the next couple of years

yea the loss works in our favor, but we should not have lost this game, it is funny ariza is playing well, dishing the ball, rebounding, scoring and then he comes out with the knicks up by 8, TT comes in and we lose the lead, punctuated by a TT fouling someone and the basket... man!!

Anyway, Josh childress seems to be comming around for the hawks, earlier this year, they were wondering if they made a mistake with this kid, he has made some huge strides. No way should scrubb azz tyrone lue be schooling marbury late like that, I mean does he even care about defending?
Josh smith, oh boy, the other night I watch this kid stink up the place with a 2-15 outing, what do the knicks do? they give up easy dunks and baskets, although smith had help from the refs on a play where he changed pivot foot twice.. anyway, the kid does some dumb things, I know these are rookie mistakes, but outside from being a great athlete, I don't see, great ball player mentality here. The other night the hawks announcers were talking about his hands being so small, that is why he turns the ball over so much when he tries to go to the hoop off the dribble, he lost the ball the other night like 4 times doing this..

Anyway... another ping pong ball, we need it. we need to let sweetney and Ariza start, give Butler some minutes and let jamal run the point.. tell steph to shut it down....
