I know Avery loves Malik and hes a good fit to replace Henderson. Daniels has been hurt a lot this year and has been squeezed out of PT, but he still is a 23 years old talented big guard who should be able to play well with what we have.

tell me how daniels is not redundant with crawford?

maybe daniels is better than craw on the defensive end - that'd mean we should trade craw if we got daniels

You need 4 guards in the nBA. Crawford and marbury cant play 44 minutes a game and hope to play 82. Marquis is cool because he can play 1-2-3--he's a more talented player than Crawford IMHO, better all-around game.

daniels is more talented than rose - rose would be a better fit on dallas too - he'd put them over the top as a chemistry guy - but what position would he play for them? hmmm

it would definitely improve their defense. malik can play the 3-4-and dare i say 5? i've always respected malik's D, but when he played shaq, that was a hole new outlook. with that, i'd still do it. there's the three guard rotation and youth zeke seeks.

probably they'd do it - they thought howard was gonna be the odd man out, but daniels ended up being the odd one out - and dallas needs toughness

I'd love to do it, but I just don't see Dallas being interested.

Yeah, I cannot imagine Dallas doing this deal. I think they can get much more for Daniels. And if they can't, they should just keep the talented 23 year old.

exactly briggs, i would do this deal in a second, I like daniels a lot, good all around, tough baller, I would love to see a player like he and trevor on the floor at the same time, both can do a little bit of everything and both can defend, I would love to get josh Howard instead, but that isn't happenning, not for rose...

why exactly would dallas do this? I think we are overvaluing a role player again.

I think this is plausable. MD is a little overpaid, but I like him alot. I have mentioned him numerous times in trade possibilities.

This is a good trade for us, but in some ways I would actually be sad to see Rose go. Still w/ JYD here Malik is redundant. MD can play minutes at 1,2 or 3. He's also a solid defensive player that would give us some balance.

The only PFs we have that I think Dallas would be remotely interested in are Kurt and Sweetney.

Well, it's like Briggs said, Avery Johnson would probably LOVE to have a defensive minded veteran like Rose on his team. Just remember, it's him and not Don Nelson anymore, so he could totally be coocoo for a trade like that. Heck, they may even no longer even be interested in KT at this point.

I could see them having interest in JYD or Rose. KT/Sweetney/Mo T dont fit into their style of play. They want guys that can run and play in the open court.
