Rusty's shock collar.. you know, the one from the Bud Light commercials. Zap him every time he heads for the fridge.
Anyone realize he did turn 21 this year? Maybe he's sucking down too many cold ones and needs Michelobe Ultra or something

he's gained 20 lbs over the course of 5-6 months.

remember that pic from the summer - where he's standing like superman with the basketball. now, the back of his neck looks like a pack of ball park franks.

my man needs to move into jyd's garage and work out with him all summer. aguirre did say that was one of their biggest priorities.

but if all else fails - shock collar it is...

This is funny, everybody was preaching don't trade sweetny, don't trade ariza... Sweetny has potential, just like tt like houston, like JC, like ariza. But they are layden type players, soft as sht, and this has been the deal for a while. TT got floored in the playoffs last year was definately the tell tell sign.

I'm not condoning what J oneal and the rest of the pacers did that night, but i can assure you that had that been steph laying on that table and that cup of bear was thrown at him, he would have ran to the locker room and the rest of the team would have followed.

This has been a down right gutless team sine LJ and ewing left. Spree was also a hard nose player, but when you have a bunch of saps around you, its hard brother.

i think i've always been pretty much lukewarm on Sweetney since he was drafted...i wanted to give him a shot to prove to me what alot of people seemed to be saying on this board & back on the MSG boards, that he had great potential & was going to be a very good player...& while he definitely has shown flashes of the skills & talent that people were raving about at times, it's just his overall attitude that strikes me as a player that simply will not ever be as great a player as people were projecting him to be...

he doesn't have even close to the type of killer mentality that some players in the past who he's been compared to have had...i know he's still young, but even Elton Brand had that intangible quality about him that you just knew he'd be a very good player someday...i just don't see that same intangible in Sweetney...maybe he gets it later on, who knows...maybe he would if he ever gets a coach who kicks his butt into shape & brainwashes him to have a more aggressive style of play, & somewhat mold his personality so that he's not so soft spoken & timid.

Sweetney needs a bounce-free sports bra. And maybe a fishnet bustier at night.

Sweetney needs that Carmen Electra lap dance video. There are fun ways to lose weight. Wink, wink.

Or, the knicks need to put one of these vehicles in front of him:

Wow.

I thought this was the board of "Sweetney can do no wrong"

i'm not gonna say anything too bad about him, but I never thought he was the answer this team needed. Get a big man for the love of god, Isiah - you know what a real big man is right? We havent seen one since Pat Ewing.

Sweetney definitely needs to lose weight no doubt. However, he should be held onto until at least next years trade deadline. That will give him and the Knicks enough time to see what you have. From a physical standpoint we know we've got someone with a weight problem. From a mental standpoint we aren't sure yet. Yes, some of us are always talking about people being soft and timid and such. It may be true about Sweetney but we don't really know....we can only guess. Now if Sweetney doesn't come back in September 30lbs to 40lbs lighter with a major muscle to fat ratio changeover then it will point us in the right direction as to how to proceed with him. But, not until then. The Knicks have been garbage for some time now because they have a history of not investing in young players. Isiah, with all of his questionable moves has been consistent with bringing younger players inspite of Herb not playing them. Trade Sweetney before then and i'm outta here.

I think he can be real good if he loses 30LBS. He'll be quicker offernsively and be able to get off better shot attempts therefore score more. And he'll keep up defensively. He's already shown that he can be a beast at times in the paint if he loses weight he will do it more consistently. But if he comes back next season looking exactly the same then you have to limit him to a bench player so that you can showcase him for a trade.

If thats a KFC bucket, Santa Sweets' might look more like Cedric the Entertainer downing hot-wings in a snow storm. And he better remember to say "Ho, ho, ho!" instead of "Hey, hey, hey!" because, remember, bad Santa get-up = pissed off kids. And pissed-off kids = real bad news for Sweetney and, I mean, worse than those UFC fighters.

Sweetney gets a lump of coal if he's a bad boy this off-season. And a one-way ticket out of town.

Im just guessing but I have a feeling if Sweetney got 30 minutes a game consistently,he wouldnt have nearly as much excess weight to deal with.
