Moving on after the loss in Seattle.

My prediction: Knicks win 86-79
Ariza 10 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal
Sweetney 18 points, 11 rebounds
Marbury 19, 9 assists
Crawford 20 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists

I think I've pretty much given up on this team this year with the return of Kurt Thomas and the way they treat the least expensive PF on the team in Sweetney

I'm problably not even going to watch this game tonight I don't want to go through the frustration again of seeing Sweetney get taken out of the game for no reason. How many collapses is it going to take for them to start doing things differently. There's been s many collapses during the past 4yrs because certain people are too unathletic to rebound down the stretch unless the ball falls right in his hands and too unathletic to get an easy layup or a shot that isn't a bricked jumpshot.

I really like this game thread format. It's got the "All Ball", its got the "Official Thread" part and it also has the date. It looks official. Nalod's game thread title and MaTT's game thread format will make a winning combination..

lol I really like this format too.

but i'm going to have to wait until next year to get excited about game threads and Knicks games again. I can't watch a team that wins 2 games with certain players playing then goes back to players they are used to losing with because according to this team, the overpaid players need to play so that people show up. They dont realize no one wants to see the same overpaid players who've lead us to 3-4 consecutive 30win seasons play.

Two things that we must do...Get Sweetney heavily involved and be sure to give JYD and Rose a lot of minutes...we only lost one game and so what? Let us just keep on playing hard, but smartly

I'm just gonna watch this to see sweetney and ariza. hopefully they get big minutes! I think we'll win..we're a different team now. We actually play to potential with Herb as coach but we're still not making the playoffs

ehh i dont know... Portland isn't playing any defense. seattle played defense lastnight and TT went 5-19 and he also struggled against Miami both times.

even as bad as bad a defense as Portland is playing they're still up because Kurt & crawford are bricking jumpshots

it's so frustrating seeing how good tim thomas can be - and im not talking about him getting hot, when he's playing well he sees the court well,plays extremely smart, and is a great high post passer. he can hit the 3 and take his defender downlow, hes got so much athleticism and a nice shot around the hoop. why is he so inconsistent? it really is frustrating...

I know exactly what you mean. Did you see that dunk he had on Pryzbilla? Darius pushed him to the basket where help was coming and Tim took off. He seemed to accelarate in mid air! It was really cool.

a completely different player than the one who started the season and didn't dunk the ball once! where the hell was he in the beginning! I hear never shows up in the first half of seasons and if thats true then he's not good enough. Wr would not be 10games under .500 if he played like this all year, thats for sure! but then again we might with Kurt Thomas still averaging 36mins and costing us 4th quarter leads with his bricks when defenses clamp down and he bricks.

There isnt a player on that court that can run with TT. There isnt a player on that court that can guard TT. Yes, I daresay he is the best player on the court tonite.

That is why I am not sold on Crawff, when we need him the most, he is never there...He had two bad games after a pretty good performance versus Boston...He and Kurt should really not be on the court together, especially during nights when their games are off...Kurt is hurt, and he is hurting us..Without him, we were much more balance..

what a surprise we can't rebound down the tretch again just like lastnight with Kurt on the floor instead of Sweetney.Luckily im not blindly rooting for a win tonight like I was lastnight.
