Crawford has no clue what he is doing out there. He makes plays off of talent but he really has no clue what his strenghts is and how to pick apart a defense and make his teammates better.

Ray Allen is a straight killa....gorilla.....for realla.

Ray didn't look like he was playign a tough game. He was dribbling and picking his spots. It was almost like the dude was shooting around or playing against a little brother. He was like a surgeon. Ray Allen has figured out the game and is ready to be that miricle maker in the playoffs.

I'm thinking if the Knicks are serious about winning something they need to try hard to get Ray Allen. The Knicks are trying to make Craw do what Ray does with ease.

Are you crazy? Ray is looking for a big pay day, and with Houston, TT, and Penny on our roster, we really can't afford another big contract..

Ray allen is slowly becomming steve kerr, that mofo does nothing but look for 3 point shots... I can see why he is not getting a max offer from seattle...

WHAT??? ray allen can create his own shoot plus he gets double teammed at times. every team steve kerr was on they had a star which drew double teams and left him open for a lil set -up three.

Ray Allen is an awesome player. I'd give up anyone other than Marbury or Ariza for him.

Ray Allen is one of the best players in the league. He can score against anyone! He can play point, post and is one of the best shooters in the game. Ray Allen is not just a allstar but I feel he is a superstar in the league, however the nba never market him like they do other players.

I agree Did. Ray Allen is a better version of Allan Houston at the same age and we all know that not every shooting guard is Reggie Miller and will be able to keep the bill of health that he has. I wouldn't touch Ray Allen if I were the Knicks, I honestly think he's a knee problem and terrible contract waiting to happen.

Ray is always under control.

The last time the Knicks played him he wasn't this unconcious with his shot but he still led his team to victory.
I just don't think Crawford is the right player for this Knicks team at this time. I love Craw but when will Craw figure it out? Next season? 2 seasons from now?

People talk about payroll......but the payroll allows the possibility for sign and trades. Craw along with KT and a filler could possibly land Ray Allen. Seattle has 8 free agents next season. They might like the fact that they can fill out the roster and still be compeditive.

The Knicks would still have more than enough players to make another big move.

It's just a suggestion. These are the options the Knicks have.

eventhough I really dont want another H20 $20million dollars a year situation I can definitely see the Knicks overpaying him because thats what they do

the difference is that one is a dead eye shooter and the other is streaky at best. Craw being streaky was not a problem seeing as we had h20 to ccontrol the shots but now that h20 is prolly done for his career its a glaring hole we have in our team.

You do have a point. He's got some knees that sing caution......but he is still in a different class than Allan Houston and Marbs. He can shoot, score, and make his teamates better. He's also a leader.

So do the Knicks wait on Craw to find his game? People keep saying that he is a nice 6th man. That's cool....so who should start? Allan Houston is off the bubble in my opinion.

Do the Knicks take a low risk gamble on a guy like Flip Murray? The guy can flat out score. Craw could then come off the bench. That would be a high powered guard rotation.

Exactly how does he make his team better? All he does is shoot the ball. he does this very well but I don't see how shooting the ball makes anyone else better. marbs gets 8ast a game and no one thinks he makes anyone better.

I think it's obvious if you saw the game last night. Marbs gets his numbers but still doesn't have a grip on the basketball game. Marbs still doesn't control the game. All good players know when to do what they do best.

Still what about my alternative question?

Do the Knicks take a low risk gamble on a guy like Flip Murray? The guy can flat out score.....check his stats for proof. Whenever he was called on to play big minutes he did his thing. Last season before Ray came back Flip was taking the league by storm and Seattle was winning. I think Flip Murray is one of those players that rot on good teams because of an established vet then signs with a new club and takes over.

last thing we need is another undersized SG!

I like Marbury but I would trade him because I feel he is more of a SG who gets a lot of assists because he is the focal point of the offense and the PG should never be the focus. When we play well he's not the focal point.

And I sure as hell don't want to play a guy who is 6-2 and a bad defender at SG. So I think it would be best for the team to trade himand acquire younger multiple talent & draft picks if they can and then find a true PG who has vision and is a good decision maker.

I'm not sure we'll win with marbury unless we get the next Duncan but who wouldn't win then. Too many Knick fans think all we need to do is add a Dalembert to the team and we'll be amazing but its not true! we might make the playoffs but we won't go anywhere with Marbury as our best player.

In a perfect world we'd have a playmaking PG, a real SG and a real Center and Crawford as 6th man. I think Marbury has enough value to get us that if only management and the fans would see that.

enyspree, for crying out loud, you are like a kid in a toy store, every toy other than your own is a great toy, and the next toy is always better than the last one.. Flip murray is a damn clown, he is a bench chucker, ray allen is a shooter, nothing else and a 3 point chucker, If you ask me, I think Houston when he was healthy a few years ago was just as dangerous, Houston started playing well and perfecting the mid range game, thos 50 point outings he did most of that with mid range shot and post moves, something ray allen does not do, all he does is hang around the 3 point line, he and that candy azz rashard Lewis..

The knicks need to draft a SG and a big man, I don't want ray allen and his soon to be 30 years old wanting a 50 year deal... I don't want flip murray who is a damn chucker, nut... I don't want rebraca or bobby simmons, two average players. I want some guys with true upside, who can run the court like gazells and play both sides of the ball... I would settle for larry Hughes right now....
