We must must must get a shot at a top 3 pick. Bogut and Gerald Green are going to be the prizes. Is anoyone else here just a little sick of getting abused by any team with talent? Does anyone watch a guy like Wade and wonder is just ONCE the Knick management would have the forsight to take a shot a high draft position? Dont tank for 6 years, just look at the roster and admit its not enough.

Yes yes, I know.
We got 2 picks for Nazr!!!
Mo Taylor is a baller!!!
Ariza is the future!!!

20 other teams have prospects better than ours. Isiah has a good eye for talent and regardless of draft position I'm confident we will get a good player, but we need more than a good player. Marbury is a good player. Crawford is a good player and the Knicks are 11th in Leastern Conference. Its embarrasing

Untill the garden stays relatively full, there will be no changes. Knicks fans need to stop goign to games, buying jersesy, etc.

Watch the game if you want, just don't buy any mechandaise or tickets. Then they'll change something.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

the year to tank was the year Wade was drafted funny enough...that's when i & a few others kept calling for this team to tank the season to get a shot at 1 of those guys that year...looks to me like it was the right thing to do to help the future of this team...look at the Heat now...a big trade got them a franchise C & they drafted a franchise G, & they're on the cusp of winning an NBA championship in the near future.

whats so great about Splitter and his 8 points and 4 rebs? Do you know something I dont? I dont have a problem with a Euro guy but can I please get one thats done something impressive?

Last season at Gulf Shores Academy (TX), Green averaged 28 points, 13 rebounds and six blocks during a 39-2 season.

As a junior and a guard. Now I know Travis Outlaw did some impressive things also but Green is years ahead offensively. Give me a winner thats dominated at some level... even if its HS. I dont want some freakin Euro guy that gets 2 points a 1 rebound in garbage time once a month but has great workouts.

The guard spots on the East All-Star team are locked up for almost 15 years between Wade and LBJ..

Wade's nickname should just be "Talent". This man doesn't need a whole lot more work to be up there with Kobe, LBJ and TMAC, if he isn't there already.

Honestly, I would love to get Graham, Simien and Taft in the first round (I would be open to trading Sweetney if we can nab Simien) and whatever PG drops (Jack is my boy but I doubt he drops)..

do we really really need another PG other than a watson, dooling, daniels type backup when we already have marbury and crawford? unless Isiah is planning on trading those two which will never happen focus on other needs like Center & a big 2-guard!

That's why I am totally content to hold off on drafting a PG until the 2nd round.

not anymore http://www.nbadraft.net/index.asp but they do have us taking Green at #8!

don't pay too much attention to that site. Nate will go in the 1st round most likely. How about Daniel Ewing or is he more of a scorer?

I'd be happy with Daniel Ewing in round 2.

I think the Knicks have to get a top five pick in order to get Taft or Greene. It'll be interesting to see if Paul and Taft come out after bad showings (team-wise) in the tournie.

Fishmike, you're silly. Why would we want to draft, when we can trade our trade assets which makes other GMs drool. **Sigh**

All sarcasm aside, I agree 100%. Marbury and Crawford are nice pieces, but they wont do caca, until we get them that big time talent downlow, and I'm not freaking talking about Zack Randolf and Eddie Curry. I'm talking about guys like Bogut, who Briggs is reminded of Duncan when he sees him. Heck, we even need a freaking Warrick on this team. I'd trade any of our power fowards for him, and he's not even in the NBA yet!!! We need a freaking SUPERSTAR. Marbury is NOT a superstar. He never even gets selected to the all star game. He has had less selections than Allan Houston as a matter of fact. He's an all star calibre player.

Taft has been slipping (for weeks now) to the point where he is considerng not coming out this year...that Whole punching incident with Paul shouldn't affect his draft standing too much IMO...

I don't trust Taft. He seems to have Tim Thomas all over him. If he stays in college, I'll have a lot of respect for him.

Crafword isn't a nice piece of anything. He doesn't fit on this team and from what I can see with his shot selection and bad decision making, he won't be great anywhere in his career. I would love to unload him KT, TT, or just about anyone in the offseason. There should be no untouchables including Marbury, Ariza and Sweetney. We can go 10 games under .500 with another group.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

now you're really trying to depress me by posting a picture of Wade in orange & blue!

Thank God we have Isiah drafting but I'm still not convinced the organization would've given Wade playing time over Houston, Penny and company.
