Ewing may meet them there.

This could be the last game they win in a while.

Another long break between Knick games has been bad. Even though we are all "looking to the future" like MLB after the disaster that started in January, I still want this team to beat up on teams like Atlanta.

I want to see Stephon start to play less mins to keep healthy and I wanna see Craw play more point. Seetney has to play more than 23 mins! I want to see Ariza guard Josh Smith or Al Harrington. I am dieing for this game.

Knicks win 94 - 87

I'm gonna be honest - since the Nazr trade, I havent seen many games. I have lost a lot of interest in the team - call me a fairweather fan if you want, but its just not exciting to watch a team get dismantles, reassembled - start to win a little, then lose a ton, get dismantled again, and now have no clear direction. Are we a lotto team? Are we a playoff team? No the answer is the same as it was 3 years ago, this is a team that defines mediocrity at its worst.

They want to win, which sandbags the future because they lose just enough not to make it anywhere.

I am frustrated Knicks fans - I know all of you are too. I just cant get up for tonights game, it doesnt excite me.

Oasis i'm with you and think Guns said it very well above - let the kids run. WE can have some optimism about the future if it's about Reeze, Sweets, Craw, maybe butler, the 2 #1's. bring marbs back fresh next year. THis current season is a disaster. play the kids, lose games with an eye toward the future, not the dismal present.

Amen to that. And in that spirit, I'll say Ariza has 16 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals.
Sweets will have 21 points, 14 rebounds, and a block.

It is very important for the Knicks to figure out what they are going to do with Sweetney next year. I would really think they would give him a ton of playing time but the dude doesnt really get time even if he doesnt foul out. WTF? I think giving sweetney mins is most important!

listning to the Knicks comments on NBA Daily it doesn't look like we'll be seeing much of the young guys are all because they are still talking about having to start winning games so they can make the playoffs and get swept by the Heat.

I don't see why that can't be done by playing Ariza for 20mins and penny for 20mins instead of Ariza playing 10mins and Penny 30mins!

And playing Sweetney, JYD & Butler over Mo Taylor & Rose!!

if we did that we would've won the Seattle game and maybe even the Heat game and we'd be in great playoff shape now we're 10games under .500 and screwed yet Taylor, penny and rose are still going to play most of the minutes over sweetney and ariza!

The development is going to be important no matter how you look at it.
You develop players so they become better, plain and simple. They can either be a better player for your team, or they become better and you get more back in a trade.
You really think a run for an 8th seed against the Heat is worth wasting an opportunity to develop our players?

Hope, my man, it's all about hope. I haven't given up hope that our kids plus our 2 #1's plus a couple more young pickups will join Marbs on a winning team next year.

Man, I hope you are right but for some reason I think we will never win a championshpi with Marbury.

Yeah I know the feeling but I look at like this - he's taken a lot of hits this year, I can't imagine getting equal value back for him right now. He's a streaky moody player. When's he's right, he's unbelievably good. The best thing to do is surround him with young athletic talent and he'll get the fever. The best ball he ever played in his life was when Martin referred to earlier, the playoffs against SA 2 years ago when he had a healthy Amare and Marion with him. Let's keep adding athletic young players to the team and some more length and see what he can do.

With the current dismal mood it seems fitting that we're having the games blacked out here.
