I generally dont do the game thread thing but I think this is a HUGE test and possible could define our season. Who knows what will happen, but if we beat the Magic we could have some real momentum going into a home game against GS. Then you looking at 5 in a row. Schedule gets tough after that but if your going to be any good you have to win some real games.

No more moral victories...

I think the matchup is better without Cuttino. He killed us with Orl and killed us w/ Hou. Christy sucks. Should be interesting

If the Knicks want to make a run for the playoffs this is a big game. Orlando is not too far ahead of us in the race.

they are pretty average. When they traded Cuttino, Francis went into pout mode and they have been under .500 since that trade. Hill is still having a great season.

Bottom line is the Magic are another .500 team in the East. Knicks need to win some of these. Everyone is healthy and we have a TON of big wid bodies to rotate up front.

if they're making a serious run, then with the 25 games left, they can't lose anymore than 4 or 5 of them. this is scary b/c deep down, we all know how this is going to end...close but not enough...hello mr. 9th pick in the draft...

I don't even think that our team is thinking that far. I do believe that they are smart enough to know that every game counts from now on. They are all important. I am expecting the Knicks to go out a leave it all on the court....

I feel alot better with Isiah having the 9th pick then Layden.

Also, if we do get close and guys play great it does beef up their value. Also you figure Sweetney is a big part of that run so maybe he solidifies his role as the starting PF.

This is a must win considering Orlando is in the hunt for the playoffs to. I believe Knicks win though, by 11.
I thought the sloagan was All Ball, not All Lottery.

The Magic are definitely a worse team then when we last played them and the Cuttino trade was downright stupid for them. The Knicks have played this team closely once and beat them the other time. I think they can win again.

Not really. Cuttino was a good defender, by Christe is a noch better defender...Christe can really contain guys like Iverson, and Carter better then Cuttino could. Though, Cuttino is a good defender.

I don't know if we're going to debate that whole trade. Personally I hated that trade from a Magic point of view, but regardless, Cuttino is the guy that always kills us. I like our chances without him.

Have you seen Christie play this year? He's close to done IMO. They traded away an 18 ppg scorer in Mobley, and have been playing poorly since the trade. THey may not even make the playoffs now.

N.Y.


Indy is on a serious funk, and they may not recover in time to make the playoffs.. Out of the last three, between Cleveland and the Knicks, one may fall short...

no way... you have 4 teams from the East making it... realisticly one will make it. Look at Indy's roster. Not only might they get Artest back but even if they dont Oneil, Jackson, Tinsley, Reggie Miller is better than any combo in the East.

Looking at their roster, it is natural to think that they will make the playoffs. However, they have had such bad luck all season long, there is no telling wheter or not they can make it. Adds are not looking good for them at all, mainly because they are losing games that they should have won....They are desperately missing Artest...
