Unfortunately for you haters, you have to wait 3 days to say we suck, because the knicks don't play until friday.

Sorry.

I'm just looking at this realistically. This team will not lose games at the rate they were losing them before. Let the games play out and hope that Isiah moves up in the draft especially since he's mad it clear that he is taking this draft very seriously.

i know you guys don't hate...I'm a brutal optimist, but you have to admit, the term for lose the rest of the games has to be hater.

I'm all about moving up in the draft, but thanks to Zeke's last trade, we can trade up and continue to play our hearts out.

Hey, if you guys are able to use a search feature on this board, you pull up a post from me talking about getting a TT jersey.

I've always believed and I refuse to tank for the pick.

Now we can trade for the pick and play our asses off the rest of the way...no reason to hate...we can trade up!!!!!

Look, I'm psyched to see Sweets and Kurt and Ariza and Marbs and even Tim playing so well and come out of this losing stretch. I think it's good for the team, it's just not healthy to lose games like they were - such close defeats.

Sometimes, rooting for the team to win a game and saying you want a high draft pick are at odds with each other, but to say someone who wants to help the team by winning the draft is a "hater" is just stupid. It's cool to keep the faith and I was right there rooting for a win tonight, but it's also cool to want this team to have a future.

See, this is where I think you are wrong. If we keep winning and lose in the playoffs, we will have somewhere around the 18th - 19th pick. If you use those picks with the two last first round picks, you can only get up a few places in the draft. Maybe to the 14th. Imagine if we are 5th in the draft and we give up our picks. We can be maybe top 3! See, that's why I root for the Knicks to lose. I root for them to lose but root for a good game from the players and highlights. So how does that make me a hater if I am rooting for the plays individually?

Just wondering, do you call anybody who does not agree with you a hater regardless of topic, or is this kind of retardation reserved for the Knicks?
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

how about instead of hater (which isn't even that bad of a term, i'm suprised you guys are all so offended by it) how about non believers in the team? or band wagon jump offers?

You want a lottery team, root for the bobcats.

i have never rooted for any of my teams to tank the season, and I think it's pretty weak to root for that.

If you ain't a hater, what are you...nobody on the knicks is rooting for a lottery pick. Nobody on the staff. Nobody involved in ownership.

Just you haters.

i don't care if you guys cry to the board sponsor to censor me...but you guys are losers for rooting for the draft.

root for someone else, these knicks are not losers and they won't tank.

That's what makes me proud to be a knick fan!

eff off. either you are in or you are out...you can keep justifying the fact that while you post we should lose, i know and everyone else knows (I'm talking about your family and friends) that you want the knicks to win every game.

you should post like it.

Only fans that root for losses.

Why are you so negative? Can't you attack someone else? Jeez...I'm just rooting for my team to win every game.

how about you go **** yourself and get off my back.

I don't want a lottery team. No one does. But, hey, what do you know....WE HAVE ONE.

Instead of "haters" can we be "realists" or "able to judge the quality of the team we watch play every night"?

let me just remind you that Boston picked up Walker and Philly picked up Cwebb. We are not gonna finish with the 18-19th pick.

A pick in the 9-13 range is more likely. That pick can be packaged with the 29th pick and Kurt or TT or Penny to a team either looking to get under the cap or looking to add multiple talents. Isiah has put too much effort into this draft for it not to be a success.

Bro, you the one staring a thread gloating about how Knicks won and "haters" should be upset.

You are right btw, every time I watch a game, I'm rootin for them to win, you can't really do otherwise.

But I alos know that a better pick is better for the future.

I also know enough about basketball to see this team's flaws, and they are many.

You are for whatever reason callin out anybody who is not blindly accepting everything that happens.

There is a difference between being positive and beind dumb, not understanding basketball realities, and attacking people who do and express there optinoin about it.

"hater" does not mean anything, the term is so dumb, its beyond believe. All it says is that you can't really make an argument to defend your views, and resort to witchhunting proclaiming pepole "non beleavers", like basketball is some kind of religion.

Newsflash, its a sport, it's logical and maeks sense. You make right and wrong moves in it, its not based on faith.

And one last thing, nobody is crying to the mods about anything, now you are just imagining thigns.

a realist realizes that this team will not wind up with a top 5 pick. And also most likely not make the playoffs which would put the Knicks in that 9-13 pick range...and Isiah can be very creative with that

the 8th seeded knicks with an injured star made it to the finals.

where has all the faith gone.

you guys win...I'm gonna go back to real life for a spell and get reminded why we root for teams. none of us are Gm's. None of us are coaches or scouts or agents. And none of us are players.

we are fans. fans root for wins.

good luck in whatever you guys are doing that makes you happy...obviously, it's not rooting for the knicks to win.

nimrod...go fcuk yourself

I think its pretty safe to say everyone on here is a Knicks fan or why the hell would you be here. That being said I cant fault anyone for wanting the Knicks to lose and getting a higher pick. I, for one, want the Knicks to make a solid run and win as many games as possible and get into the playoffs cause as we all know ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE once the playoffs start and developing a losing attitude is just not good now and not good for the future.I have realized that LongIslandKnicksFan and some others want them to lose to get a higher pick and thats absolutely fine too, TO EACH HIS OWN. WE ARE ALL KNICK FANS IN OUR OWN WAY
I wasn't born with enough middle fingers!!!

but i think what people are failing to realize is that this is a new team. the idea of getting a top 5 pick went out the window after firing Lenny Wilkins and trading Nazr/Baker/Moochie/Brewer. So while some people are going to be posting every day about how the Knicks need to lose every game they simply aren't with this team.

They won't get a top 5 pick unless they trade up. There are a lot more teams that are worse right now after the Knicks made these moves. They are going to win at least as much as they lose. Which will automatically put them in the 9-13th pick range.

You are right on this one guns, looks like gettin rid of deadwood at the end of the bench helped.

Getting rid of Lenny is helpin too.

Also not having Mohammed break down our defense and miss dunks and layups help also.

My freind mentioned it today wathcing the game, considering how close someof our losses were, playin Brewer, Sundov, Baker and Mooch for even 5 min did make an impact.

We'll see, we are 3-1 after the break, we need to get to .500, the shedule is easy, but I don't think we can enough to get there.

I think 9-13 sounds abour right.

exactly! one thing is for sure We are not getting Bogut...but Isiah can still be very creative and we can still move up and take a center or best player avail.

This is prob beating a dead horse, but:

Do you really think that anyone here who attends this
site regularly would bother wasting their time if they
"hated" the Knicks? That's a really stupid thought.
