It was nice to see the Knicks fighting their way back to send this game into overtime....Although we didn't win, but I am hopeful to know that our boys will be just fine by next season, if and only if Isiah decides to bring in some new pieces to replace a few of the dead weights that we currently have in our squad...Herb should be retained in my opinion. He has showed that he at least has the knowledge, and can be a good coach if given a chance. Yes, we are not winning right now, but it is not his fault. Lenny did a pretty bad job as our coach, and Herb has inheritted a pretty bad roster full of injured players. I know that many of you want to see Phil Jackson as our coach, but truthfully if it isn't Larry Brown, Flip Saunders, or Isiah, we really don't need a new coach....Marburry has been exposed to too many coaches as is, but if it is any of the names that I have mentioned he will fine....

I am very happy to see that we have a nice future in our youths. If we can acquire that one kid (Jamal Sampson) for cheap, we will definitely be heading in the right direction.....Hold on fans, things have to go bad before they get better....

lenny did a bad job but herb gets a pass b/c he inherited a bad roster of injured players? didn't lenny have the same bad roster with injured players as well?

so only 3 or 4 coaches can do anything for us?

Lenny had this team for a good year with more than 60 games combined and most of all, a training camp.....Until the day he retired, he still didn't know his roster. He didn't even know who he wanted in his starting lineup and so on.....As for Marburry, he has been coached by too many coaches, and that can be a really bad thing...For the next 4 years, Marb needs to be around just one coach that can understand and take advantage of his game....He needs a coach that will not be affraid to criticize him......Brown and Isiah, or perhaps Herb can do just that....
