3) We have it from someone who should know that the barely reported verbal tiff between Steph and Kurt Thomas on the Knicks bench during a timeout Friday night went down something like this. It started apparently because Kurt was pissed off at Steph for either dribbling too much or taking a bad shot on a recent possession, and saying so to Steph.

Steph: "F**k you man."

Kurt: "F**k YOU. Everyone in this organization is afraid of you, but I'm not, and I will beat your a**."

This looks great, the team is falling apart.

thats what loosing brings, fustration and bickering.

But KT is right, Steph is a fustrated eratic selfish f..k when the loses start to mount.

Then earlier on in the season when TT and Craw were breaking plays and going one on one, he had the nereve to call them out along with himself for doing it.
Hippocracy is a damn sin that brings loads of bad karma.

The team sucks......top to bottom.....all the good teams have depth. We all thought the Knicks had some of the best depth in the league....

Timmy has had the worst season of his career.....
KT is the Starter....
It's anybody's guess which Nazr shows up night to night....
Craw has been hurt and brilliant and terrible when he has been playing.
Steph has let the NY media get to him.
Sweets can't stay out of foul trouble...
Ariza is good but he's not ready to be a starter.
Brewer can score....
Baker is depressed.....
Penny has been gimpy and a distraction.....
Speculation on Houston's health has taken the life out of this team that is dead by itself.....
Moochie is what he is....
Sundov is so raw.....
JYD is a situational role player on a good team....

what can the Knicks really do? this is our Knicks.....Isiah at least gave us hope but it's hopeless.

thing is i have a feeling Stephon could kick KT's arse if he wanted to...you don't mess w/guys built like a pitbull, especially when you're as tall, lanky & slow as KT is...i don't think anyone on the team intimidates Stephon to tell you the truth, which is a big part of the reason why he's never had to humble himself...the only one in the Knicks' franchise that i think Stephon TRULY respects is Isiah...that's why i wish Isiah would just take over as head coach...if he can't get through to him, no one can.

Isiah spoke to Marbury & he immediately showed a difference in his level of intensity...it didn't last longer than a few games, but you can plainly see that when Isiah talks, Stephon listens...i really think Isiah is the only man who can get through to Stephon at this point...not even Larry Brown will be able to garner as much respect from Stephon as Isiah will, because it's he who was directly responsible for bringing Marbury back home, & it's he alone who can determine whether or not Marbury is shipped someplace else...if Dolan wants to ship Marbury out against Isiah's wishes, i think both of them will be gone regardless.

If this continues then this was a failed trade. A mans character is tested in the face of adversity.

I hope that Steph can develope into a leader, otherwise we are doomed if our best player is an egomaniac.

And if so, then give me Fatspoon, Eiesly, and what ever, cuz atleast those guys acted like a team an worked hard. This team is filled with very weak, soft character! Vin, Craw, Marbs, and TT!

Who knows, Maybe Isiah could have done better? We'll never know!

we are doomed if Stephon is our best player. He's not a franchise player.

Dolan is too stupid to realize that trading Steph might be a good thing. He'd rather just add payroll. If Marbury is traded it will be because of Isiah and I don't see that happening anytime soon.

I am afraid to concur...but he brings it every night...can't say that about a lot of players in the league.

if only he brought it every night defensively but still if we had a better defensive frontline we'd be in much better shape as long as Marbury is the only liability on defense.

Based on the tenuous assumption that this is true, it is an indictment on Steph's inability to be a leader and get his teammates to respect him. His statement about his place among elite PGs in the NBA can only be construed as one of self-centered arrogance that I doubt you'd ever see guys like Stockton, M.Jackson, Nash, or Kidd say. Obviously the reporter who asked the question should know better than to ask NBA players (who all have pea-sized brains) a question like that, but the response can't have gone down well, given Marbury hasn't exactly gone about proving his statement right.

As for KT. He also ought to keep his mouth shut. He's not a star and not a leader either so he has no right to open his mouth. There are far better ways to speak out against leadership than that.
