They have a better combo guard in Gordon and have a long term answer at SF in Deng. They have Harrington who has added tremendous bench play and toughness and it seems all the players have now bought into the system. sometimes getting rid of something for what appears to be nothing works. Addition by subtraction, they no longer have to deal with JC's wild swings.

ummm Briggs

why do constantly come on here with all of these anti-Knick comments and posts. are you a knickerbocker fan or have you fallen in love with hearing yourself talk

cause i'm not really feeling you at all

who cares that the Bulls improved their team well besides you

the knickerbockers also improved their team with the addition of Crawford but i am searching for your post on that and i am having trouble finding it

the bulls have added a million pieces since they traded crawford and now all you can say is that they improved their team when they traded crawford

don't be hating

addition by subtraction is one way to look at it.

but i think it's more addition by subtraction (jamal) by addition (gordon) by addition (nocioni) by addition (deng) by addition (curry 2k5)

Maybe trading Jerome Williams really helped them. How do you know it was Crawford!

Im not anti-Crawfish, I think he can fit if we change the system has an appointed 3 pt shooter/slasher--but as we are constitued, his erratic play and lack of D with the other personell doesnt make for a great fit. If i say that Chicago did an addition by subtraction--it what was right for their team. If it asnt Im sure crawfish would be in a Bulls uni. He left, was replaced by BG, BG has played within Skiles system and their overall team has been better.

Heck they are 10-3 in their last 13, we havent had a streak like that in 5 years.

Here's some other strange coincidences that could be spun like Briggie just did with Crawford:

The Clippers are much better now that they got rid of Q-Rich
The Cavs are much better now that they got rid of Boozer
The Heat are much better now that they got rid of Lamar Odom
The Wizards are much better now that they've been able to play without Etan Thomas. (I always thought Etan was killing his own team )
The Wizards are much better now that they got rid of Jerry Stackhouse

Maybe there's a simpler solution. Maybe when a team makes several moves, you could try posting a thread where you isolate one move and claim that it's responsible for the change in the team. But that doesn't mean your claim has any validity.

its not the same team... where are you coming from? Curry and Chandler have been healthy and playing well. Kirk isnt a rookie, Ben's learing the NBA game Deng is impressive. How about giving the guys on that team credit for getting better?

Did trading TMac make the Magic better or are Francis, Hedo, Hill and Dwight Howard just playing well?

The NBA isnt cause and effect

dalembert was hurt and didn't play. he is in the doghouse big time. now i hear that pheonix may be after his with a trade expemtion and a #1. philly is better off waiting till the offseason.

I think he had one year a few years ago where he missed the entire season with knee problems.

The Bulls current winning is due to the draft picks they got. Not because of the Jamal trade. The Bulls had a horrible year last year so they got number 1 drafts. We will not see the payoff of the Jamal trade until the summer when the Bulls are able to resign Eddie Curry because of cap room. The Bulls are playing well now, but they weren't in the beginging of the year. Everything takes time. Who's to say they would not have playing good if Jamal stayed because they still would have the draft picks.
