I know many people were happy when Jamal got injured and felt that this team is better without him. I don't find that to be the case. This team needs offense as well as defense. Marbury can not score 30 every night. We need another go to guy. Jamal being out is going to hurt us. People keep on acting like this team is stacked with offensive players. My question is where? Moochie, injured Houston, Penny on his vacation, Bruno,Brewer,JYD, Kurt Thomas, Ariza, Baker none of these player can create their own shot. TT is the only other person that can score and he does not get enough touches. We need Jamal back soon or we are going to lose alot more games not just because of bad D, but because lack of offensive weapons.

we need our DEFENSE back...they were winning those 3 games when they finally committed to playing defense through 48 minutes.

the past few games, they've played horrific team D.

In the games we won Marbury scored like 30 which is one of the reasons we won. If Marbury doesn't have energy, because being drain from previous games we are going to lose. When Jamal plays it takes some of the pressure off Marbury. Last time we played the Cavs Jamal had 24 points. If Marbury is off who esle is going to pick up the slack? There is a big problem with Jamal not being on the court and Houston playing like he is still injured. If you are satified with our offense then fine, however I do think our offense should be address as well as our defense.

Marbury's scored 30 points in games before & they still lost because the D wasn't there...it's when he actually decides to play D that the rest of the offense flows & they get easy baskets off T/O's...they haven't done that at all the past few games.

well, at least Jamal is entertaining to watch. The problem right now is Houston clearly isnt ready and we have no 2's. TT still isnt doing anything

We need a coach that will work with what we got. Somebody who instills hard work and responsiblity.

Thomas has preached both on an organizational level, but so har has failed to deliver either.

Where does accauntability come into play when TT is till starting? Or when the starting unit plays no D, and is still intact? We have no offense off the bench, and no defense starting.

Why not make a change, put somebody who can score on the bench, and put in a defensive guy on offense.

This is not rocket science. Lenny is either to afraid or constraned by Thomas to commit to any kind of action.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Absolutely, Houston starting reminds me of last year's knicks that sucked.

Has he even drove to the hoop? He's a waste...he's gotta go to the bench or to another team. NOW.

Until we get both Jamal and Sweets back, i'm reserving judgement on these knicks. Currently, we are last year's playoff knicks.

They really are last years team. The game against the Cavs the Knicks look like the team that got blown out by the Nets in the playoffs.

I've really been staying positive, and I don't believe a trade can help out. Isiah had it right when he wanted that guy from golden state...would have made all the difference.

Lenny has his work cut out for him, but getting blown out is the coaches responsibility...have we even tried to play zone this year?

the absolute worst team (next to phoenix and seattle) to try a zone on. Those are teams that at any given time 3 to 4 players on the floor are good shooters and can hit a 3. Does anyone remember Don Chaney had us doing the exact same thing last year against Dallas? That is not a good sign.

yea ur right! I was shocked to see them play Zone on Dallas! Man Dirk was on FIRE that game. He was smoking from 3 point land! It was one of the worst things I have seen.

When they play D and HAVE Jamal, they will win more games!

p.s. in case people haven't noticed, regardless of Houston's shooting (which was thank God good last night) he cannot move laterally on defense.

there's a newsflash...he's never been a good defender...at least his shot is looking alot more fluid now if last night's game was any indication...he's getting better elevation & his shots aren't flat like they were in MIA & CLE...hopefully, this continues.
